Sounds like a lucky bug. That, or the Balor was coded differently from the rest of the Demons.

U should equip ur fighters with +3 weapons, it is very common on the bodies of drow, alternatively try putting traps where the balor appears that should kill him easily.

Actually this should be in the SoA Forum, but since us ToB boardies rarely get fresh threads, we were willing to answer this one without complaint.

The demon he is referring to is found in Chapter 5, in the Underdark, in SoA.
