Hmph. If I knew someone with a Fighter's handbook, I'd be able to find out for sure. Unfortunately, I don't.
I'll find out if it is or not.

The D&D Berserker and the one in Baldur's Gate are not the same thing.

Krunchy: They are supposed to be. So if the one in the Fighter's handbook doesn't have immunity to level drain, this one shouldn't either.

That's not true, riftmaker.
The kits in all of the "Complete Guides..." are different from the way they're implemented in BGII. For instance, the Cavaleir is a Fighter kit, IIRC. There is no Kensai kit. Barbarian is a Fighter kit too, not a class. There is no Sorcerer in AD&D 2e. Swashbuckler is both a fighter and a thief kit. I don't have the books in front of me, but you could check up on me. I'm pretty sure what I've said above is true.

Hm, that's odd.
But still, if the Immunity to Level Drain isn't listed in the kit description, then why should it be implemented?

Conversely, if the Immunity to Level Drain is implemented, then why shouldn't it be listed in the kit description?

Exactly.
Someone needs to ask Gaider about this. If someone already has, could they post his answer? ![]()

If the Berserker was NOT supposed to be immune to level drain, I think they would have addressed it in one of the numerous Baldurdash updates.

Maybe, but one can still ask. It never hurts to ask, no?
