Enough said
Enough said, indeed. There is no comparison what comes to Diablo.

Let us remember BG-series were develop by BioWare, which should still be standing. Or should I actually read the news? Not that they´d make another BG, but cancelling Fallout 3 is a huge piss off.

I was looking through the FAQ at Black Isle for the reason my game isnt working and came upon something interesting. Black Isle may be going out of buisnes, but Bio Works isnt. From what I understand, Black Isle was just the publisher. Bioware made all the things that make the game tick. (Ick! Bad wording.) So unless Bioware is going out of buisness, games like BG mays till have a chance. But of course, it could just be my misinterpritatioin.

Aye, Bioware created the Infinity engine - the heart of Baldur's Gate, but I doubt it'll be used again considering its age and the last Black Isle game, Lionheart, which wasn't bad but was certainly no BG.

The island is gone but its inhabitants will remain

I feel like some one in my family died. The only RPGs I've ever enjoyed were Black Isle products.

Oh, yes, it was!

Baldur's Gates and Fallouts are the most similar thing to real PnP roleplaying there is. Other so called "RPGs" are usually nothing than diablo-like hack'n'slash dungeon-crawling platform games. Lionheart. Temple of Elemental Evil. Morrowind. A true CRPG simply doesn't exist.

[/QUOTE]What I meant by "which wasn't bad" was "which had crap gameplay and aged graphics, combined with the mindless consistency of the Diablo series, but I don't want to be too harsh on a legendary company like Black Isle over one mistake, so at least it's better than Temple Of Elemental Evil."
