We actually only know what happens to House De'Vir from a House Do'Urden perspective in the books. Salvatore never says why House De'Vir loses Lolth's (Lloth's) favor; just that they do.

there are two drow in the 2:nd floor of the inn in Ust Natha who are to be executed and they are from family Ve'Vir... but AFAIK Viconia doesnt react to seeing them, which is strange
