From what I've heard from others it's a VERY buggy mod although I've never personally used it myself. Part of the strength of the game is the replay value with different classes and this mod takes that away. Also I would find for example running a thief guild and not being a thief just a little strange. That's just my opinion, I don't know what others think.

I don't use the multi-stronghold mod myself, but I do see how it would be useful to experience the strongholds you've never done before. I definitely wouldn't use it until I had already played the game several times.
As for me, I'll probably never play a bard, and I haven't yet gotten a druid or thief far enough along to play their stronghold. But I did read about their stronghold quests on some of the walkthroughs, so I know what I'm missing. If I hadn't gotten to read through the strongholds in a walkthrough, then I'd probably try the multi-stronghold mod and just play through the ones I've never done before (doing them all in a single game is insane!)
