Heroux-Baldurdash, AKA Baldurdash Remix, implements all of the TOB fixes and most of the SOA fixes, and does most of them in a way that allows them to be installed after other mods without worrying about damaging things that might have already been edited. Among other things, you can apply script patches to NPCs and correct spelling and such in the dialog.tlk file AFTER other mods are in, which you can't do with BD Classic.
Remix 1.0.2 had a nasty bug in it but so far there's been no problems reported with the new version.

Don't take this the wrong way, but did you copy the mod file into your BGII folder before running it? It has to be there, or it will report that it cannot find the DIALOG.TLK file. (It took me half a dozen tries before it dawned on me to try copying it to the correct folder.)
And, no, you do not have to start a new character. At least, I didn't. I have three games running concurrently, and just recently installed several of the mods, including Baldurdash, Items, and the tactics mods. [ 02-25-2003, 05:00 PM: Message edited by: Thorfinn ] |

Another problem with dialog.tlk that I had, (and I believe that is not the case here) is that you shouldn't have any application or program that uses it running at the same time. That is, close Infinity Explorer, NearInfinity, TLK Editor, Baldur's Gate game
