When it's all written down it becomes obvious that there's no consistency to it. I'd have liked rewards that make some kind of sense in the context and related to the test.
The most obvious thing is that IMO the good choices are best with two exceptions - obviously the wrath test and probably selfishness. Since when did hell reward goodness? It goes against everything in literature - surely evil should be the fast route to power, whilst one should sacrifice something for goodness. This exists already in the game - Keldorn sacrifices his happiness and family life for the greater good - what does the PC sacrifice in order to persue the good path through the game? If anything I find it's a constant struggle to be evil... |
