well yea i guess.....but he still looks like a pro-wrestler......or maybe a guy on sterioids.....but if i remember correctly....raistlin from the dragonlance books was once a neutral mage that was extremely frail.....after he becomes the evil mage he soons have the physical abilities of his brother....but he still looked frail.....not some guy on sterioids

Yeah, but you can't base a generalisation of the type *Mages must be frail* on a single wizard in a single campaign any more than I could say *because Stephen Hawking is in a wheelchair, every smart person must be in a wheelchair*

If a mage can steal your soul, then he can probably buff himself up with a spell. Maybe he modified 'Tenser's Transformation' to be more powerful and permenant.

What was really missing from the game was a certain convo option

actually a better question is if he used to be an elf why is he huge.(he's also like 6 inches taller than any other character and he slouches) Elves are supposed to be tall, thin, somewhat frail looking. Maybe it has to do with the fallen elf deal. A hugely strong elf, becomes a hugely strong human(as i understand) and becomes huge.

His dexterity is nothing to laugh at (frankly, if you're laughing at him at all, you know a trick that he doesn't) but his strength is pretty average. Guess the muscles are just for show.
