When the cost comes down -- way down -- I'll give it a shot. About the best idea I've heard for this is to put all of a child's textbooks on it so they won't be schlepping a backpack bigger than they are. Maybe if Amazon donates some to a school district, along with the books, they'll get enough press to really catch on.

BTW, Isn't this what the cute Yeoman Janice Rand used to give Capt. Kirk for the daily reports?

I think you have something about the text books...not just for kids, Im 47 and attending college part time, it would be a major coup for me too!
