Might it be the firewall I am behind that messes things up??

I'll try a different server address to use, try again throughout the day as I make changes!! It might not be the firewall..

I figured it out--I needed to change servers..

NOW-- there will be a 'choice' of 'servers' to choose from, pick the closest to where you live. if that doesn't work, try ALL of them.

I chose 'Atlanta' as mine.

(the 'servers' are the 'undernet' ones).

PS: You won't be able to use Chat behind a Firewall.. I just read that in the doc's...

If you open the propper ports, it should work through firewalls I can't think of why it wouldn't. Now since I can't go opening holes in the company firewall I will have to limit the chat to at home though

This Chatroom is just a webwindow mIRC client sorta.. So everything related to ports is handled 3rd party (whoever runs the irc server at undernet).. It says in the readme.txt that it doesn't work behind Firewalls, because the client doesn't handle Proxy settings.
