What about an army of Green Slime or Ochre Jelly.
Those gobs seem to be a lot more intelligent and brave than the Kobolds

Edit: Inserted "and brave"

Are you sure it was not some repressed subconscious smurf fetish, grungi?

And Grungi, have you thought about using beggars? They're happy for a gold piece, there are hundreds of them, and by integrating them into your army for world conquest, you will be giving them a purpose.

nah beggars cant be choosers

ah yes smurfs, see xvarts would be owned by the smurfs though, they'd just send the female one in and she'd woo them all whilst they were watching her gyrating papa smurf would smack em over the end with a big ole hammer and the pratical jokes guy would use his explosives knowledge to take em all out, actually an army of smurfs might prove to be unstoppable thanks for the plan

I would make an army of Craxelicrox's then to defend myself (I don't know if I spelled it correctly. I don't even know if you use the same word for it in English - but it is the big ugly bird I am speaking about).

Edit: Ahh - I forgot to make a comment on the beggar plan: What an excellent plan. Most of the beggars are probably unemployed former kobold-killers (read: Heroes) that has been expelled by their home town community because of the pro-kobold propaganda agitated by a certain Mr. Under Hill. Are you talking about a vulture, commodore, eagle, cassowary, emu, buzzard, or hornbill?

Oh - I am sorry if I offended you 'Byrd'. I was talking about the big - eh 'marvellous' bird at the (some say evil) sorcerer that hunts the smurfs.

Again, our esteemed Chair Legolas has raised salient points. The physical location of the village and its reformatory must remain secret. Whether this proves or disproves Mr Underhill's claims for Kobold integration should be based on a fair and uninterrupted time for instruction and assessment.

However, it is to assessment I wish to draw all of our attentions. Whilst no one wishes to accuse Mr Underhill of usury, the backers of the project must be kept informed as to the (eventual) outcome of their expenditure. Wouldn't you wish to know how your donation is being utilised? In addition, the good members of K.A.K. would like to know how this capital is being "invested" in the Kobold's future. It is understood that our members would not need to know the day-to-day running of the school, but a general overview of methodolgoies would be more than adequate.

Also, the curriculum of the institution (in brief) would be helpful. Perhaps not to K.A.K., but certainly to worthies with experience in the field of education. I'm sure there are plenty of candidates at Candlekeep that would accept a position as tutor. We need a fair and independent assessment of the school's teaching plan, staff and accounts. This is not for K.A.K. members, but for Faerûn and its peoples.

We look to you Legolas to suggest the forum with which an independent review body can be set up and maintained, with powers of legislature, to oversee the running of the Kobold village. This is not for the sole purpose of "assassinating" the idea, but to encourage real growth in the project. Furthermore, it is unfair of B.Y.O.B. to allow Mr Underhill to handle the near-total burden of the experiment.

I urge you Chairman, seek answers to this proposal, and allow impartial experience to aid the endeavour.

My esteemed orator Lord Brass, I ask you yield that soapbox for a minute.

I cannot say I disagree when you state it appears as though it falls to Mr. Baggins to juggle all aspects of building and running a first Kobold village succesfully. However, guesswork and suspicion will not benefit the comittee. Although it would be far from difficult to claim Mr. Baggins is running this project inefficiently to the benefit of himself, or is indeed merely running, it is also impossible to verify at this point in the proceedings.

It would appear Mr. Baggins is occupied at the moment, and hence cannot provide us with the facts we require to properly observe this matter, but I am certain one of his fellow BYOB loyalists shall step forward and offer a progress report. That will also be the time to question the efficiency of the BOYB, for even if it is not ours to run, parties in entropy cannot properly work towards achieving anything, let alone a delicate matter as is Koboldic Integration.

I propose we wait for any word from BYOB before we move on. Any unneccesary delays shall ultimately work to their own disadvantage. However, it would be pointless to wait for the BYOB forever. I cannot and will not hang around like a dog to jump up and wag my tail exitedly upon the return of Mr. Baggins.
The BYOB organisation shall have one month in which to react, and after that, sadly, they will have missed their chance to improve life for the kobolds through integration. Other attempts might be made, but the credibility of parties like the BYOB will have taken a serious blow.

I am, naturally, merely speculating on the future. If by cooperating the BYOB proves it remains an effective organisation to this day, they may well have already contributed greatly to a succesful future for kobolds and men. The fact remains that they have taken up a great responsibility, and much depending on how it is dealt with. I am fully confident the coming days will shed some light on the matter.
