Sea roleplay. "the begining"

IC: Just whilePlaxica was walking over to rig up a sail while getting ready to leave, he noticed one of the ropes had been cut. "Captain! Someone has cut one of the ropes here."

Karthias

Karthias was up and ready to go, he had enjoyed his stay in the town, he had a good time, he was particularly proud of the new shining Full Plate armour that he bore, afterall, it had cost him most of his first installment of money!

But alas, the time had come for them to leave the trials and tribulations of the city and head on to the quest at hand, after Karthias was finished with this though he reckoned he would be back to this place, hopefully the next time though he would be as rich as the chocolate cake he had eaten last night..........

After a slight lull Karthias jolted back into reality to find a busy deck around him. His warrior instincts instantly told him

Calarlyth raised his eyebrow, and asked his tone soft, "I would be honoured; but first, tell me, why? I am a complete stranger to you - and as far as I know, I have done nothing to deserve a drink." the elf paused, "Perhaps you are mistaking me for someone else? I am Calarlyth, a bladesinger... well met Komo; perhaps we could talk somewhere which is not quite so busy, friend?" the elf paused again as though considering something, then smiled, "I accept your offer; I have had nothing to do as of late, and a drink and news would be welcome. Where do you hail from?" he asked, trying to determine exactly what Komo wanted.

Also, I'm really confused, since Lyulfe was talking to Komo but now Komo is with Calarlyth’Kaeion... @.@ Um, I'll just assume Lyulfe is with Komo, who is with Calarlyth’Kaeion...

ic- Lyulfe noticed Komo had already gotten off the subject of "women" and was currently talking to a stranger he had bumped into. "Greetings," he addressed the elf, and held out a finger to his dragonet who sniffed it curiously. "I'm pleased to see what great condition your familiar is in... you seem to take good care of him. My companion, Skye, would probably like to meet a fellow elf such as yourself," Lyulfe commented while still holding out his hand.

edit- changing Calaethis to Calarlyth’Kaeion... DP, your char needs a nickname -.- I just know its a spelling error waiting to happen

Calarlyth smiled, and nodded to the elf (Lyulfe), bowing slightly, seemingly a little confused at the hand. Then he hesistantly extended his own, and replied, "It is an honour to meet you sir," the younger elf smiled, "How could I not take care of him? Aryxon is more then a familiar; he is a companion and a friend." the little dragonet perked up, and looked up curiously at Lyulfe, and wrapped his tail around the adult elf's finger, and chirped cheerfully, his small gem-like eyes glowing with curiosity. Calarlyth grinned, "He seems to like you, sir." The bladesinger looked curious, "Well, I am not travelling anywhere, right away... it will be a pleasure to meet this Skye of yours." He smiled and nodded politely.

She fished out a little amulet and hung it around her neck, fingering it deliberately ~ "Perhaps it will grant us some magical powers of some sort." ~ Her eyes were dancing with mischief ~ "Yes, let's survey the newcomers, maybe show them our welcome the way I was greeted with."

ohh look what hapend... how did this happen? he says smiling while he is cleaning his finger nails whit a dagger.

Alot of the other sailors started to gather around to se what happens get back to work before you lose them coruno yells and the start to walk down to his cabin.

Once the drink was bought, the small group of men headed back towards the ship. "There's Skye now," Lyulfe pointed at the half-elf standing next to Rong Er. The were discussing something to eachother, and Skye was examining something around the human's neck with an impish smile. "Oh... excuse me for a moment," Lyulfe said to Cal with a quick inclination of his head before walking over behind Skye.

Skye suddenly felt somebody pull gently on her long braid, swinging her head back so it looked directly up into Lyulfe's amused eyes. "What's all this?" he asked her with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh, hallo Lyulfe. You know, I'm going to get an awful crick in my neck if you don't let go." he relinquished his hold and she moved her head from side to side. "That's better! Now what do you mean, 'what's all this?' I'm just having a nice conversation with Rong Er," she gestured towards her companion.

"At the moment, but you were planning something in that head of yours. I can always tell when you're up to mischief," Lyulfe looked at her warningly. At that moment angry yells and shouts were heard from the ship, and they all looked towards the sailors standing on the deck, gathered around a rope.

Skye hastily pulled on Rong Er's sleeve and led them away from the group, towards the other side of the ship. "It was nice to bump into you again Lyulfe, we'll catch up with each other onboard, alright?" she called cheerfully and waved her hand, still hurrying away from them.

Lyulfe sighed and put a hand to his face. "Well, that was Skye," he said, gesturing with his other hand towards her disappearing back. "I don't suppose you want to go on a voyage anywhere?" he asked Cal, while they walked onto the ship.

"What seems to be the problem Captain?" he addressed the angered man who was heading towards his cabin. "There seems to be a disagreement of sorts."

"I'll fix the rope captain, the only thing troubling me is who could have done this." With that Plaxica takes hold of the two loose ends of the rope adn ties them together into a knot any sailor would have done, and even takes some spare bit of rope to reinforce it in case they ran into some bad weather during their voyage.
