Oh my, yes. Overcast, so no stars, but slightly breezy and cool (c. 60F/15C). Good beef stew or clam chowder weather.

Who is, old sport? But, the last music video that I liked was Linda Ronstadt in "Tell Him," about 1982, I'd guess. Ah, well, someone is impatient to go to RP to slay a dragon, so,

Wing Commander Attalus,

signing off

Hey Johnny! Hey Phil!

What's happening dudes? You know what I reckon? I reckon we should pick a time some day this week, a time that is reasonable for all of us, and have a beer! You know, a synchronised drinking session. (maybe it would end up with Johnny having a drink at 8:30 in the morning, but he probably does that anyway! )

Anyone up for it?

ROFL! Actually you can do that at some rallies, just to see how fast your scoot can go! And some of the early land speed records were set on scooters... don't think my Lamby will be doing that though, top speed of about 60, my Vespa does 65 (70 or so downhill with the wind behind it!) Not bad at all for 125s, they are generally slower than motorbikes due to all the steel-plate bodywork - my Vespa weighs well over 200lbs with all the chrome racks and bars on it. A 200cc scooter will generally reach speeds of about 80mph.

Scooterists aren't generally obsessed with speed the way some bikers are - bikes go fast, scooters are for posing - and no-one can see how cool you look if you go too fast!

'big z' did not put the kybosh on me. i went home so i had no idea what he said. if he wants to ban me, go ahead. it botheres me not. furthermore i am not trolling, i was arguing and the mods took issue for some reason...

it was strange though- the mod squad were all ganging up and jumping metaphoricly down my throat...

Just some well-meant advice, Radiant, you don't have to listen to it, I'm just gonna give it anyway
Drop it already

Nobody's asking you to leave (yet ), just drop the argumentative crap for a second and chat about something else - you may find it's more enjoyable...
if you want of course.
