Shevarash looked intensly sad, and then gave off a howl, the nearby wooks echoing with the sound of his misery.. the sound wrenched at Kaltia's heart, and she stopped and turned around again... the wolf, run up to her, and brushed his fur against her legs...

The wolf lay down and pawwed at the half drow until she knelt down and took his head in her lap, then the wolf nusseled her with his head and refused to move until she spoke with him.

Kaltia sat for a while, trying not to let herself become attached to the wolf. "If i wanted to, I would move. yeah." but she made no effort to.
"It's the elves, the ones like Alliene. Always going on about me having tainted blood. Do they realise a half-elf usually has more trouble than them? Do humans except us? No, we look like elves. Do elves? No, we look like humans. A half-elf's life is usally loneliness and misery...and then you get the real idiots like Alliene! I hope...i hope there's a special spot in the Abyss for her." she spat those words, cuddling Shevarash tighter without meaning to. "Calaethis is okay, I guess. he's sweet, shown me some real kindness so far. But..." she swiftly broke off that train of thought.

Shevarash suddenly sat up and growled, his front fangs glowing white, the colour of ice, a legacy of his winter wolven heritage... his golden eyes looked around, and the fur on the back of his neck rose, and very quietly, he padded forward, then turned around and waited for Katlia to follow him... he had smelt the bear...

Once she was sure the wolf had gone, Kaltia quietly picked her bow up and made to leave...to find Shevaresh blocking her way. Reluctantly, she followed him.

Shevarash hid in the shadows, not as well as his master could, but well enough not to be seen unless one knew what to look for... making sure Kaltia could see him, the wolf stalked over to where the bear was, and saw Natha standing sevarl feet away from it. Shevarash awaited Kat's command to attack.. assuming a "guard" postion over her..

*Natha Pulled Some Herbs From His Pack And Some Other Things. Calming The Bear And Dressing The Wound, He Removed The Arrow.
Then, He Heard The Wolf, Howling And Spriting Towards Him. As It Appeared, It Leapt For The Bear With A Vicious Snarl, But In Mid Air, Was Grabbed By Natha, Who Leapt Into Him. Crashing On The Floor On Top Of The Wolf, He Let Go And Stood Up Realising It Was Calaethis' Wolf. Using His Skills, He Charmed The Wolf, And Sent It Away Where It Came From Before It Hurt The Bear, Or The Bear Hurt It. Knowing Cal Would Probabaly Follow Soon After, He Took The Bear With Him Away Into The Woods*

***OOC Concerning my wolf: hmm... coz hes part winter wolf, hes stronger, larger, and got better defenses, and has an ice attack from his fangs, no icy breath tho... and he can rip out ppl's throats *glares* and I think I'll have it so that he regenerates. and when hes critically injured he teleports to Cal via some spell...
is that too much? (as in power?)

Alliene looked down at her cousin. Her anger had dissapated, and now a most un-drowlike emotion surfaced in her. Guilt.
She jumped off Zachana and buried her head into his shoulder, clutching the surprised elf hard,

"Oh Calaethis! What has gotten into me! I fear the other elves may have heard my comment..." she could tell he was communing with his wolf as he nodded, then her face twisted, "They don't understand! Do they think I was accepted as soon as I came from the drow city? Of course not! I was only 100 years old, a foolish teenager! The humans...they did not treat me with the respect I was expecting. It was a blow to my pride, the way they treated me. I had gotten lost in a forest and a group of bandits caught me off-guard..." she hung her head, though her voice radiated defiance, "I will not say what they did to me, but its left an impression, a bad one." she squeezed his shoulder and a tear trickled out of her eye, "As for drow...I was raised with them. I do not approve of their ways...but sometimes I get caught up in the action and my drow heritage presides, and I can do nothing to stop it," quickly wiping the tear away, she released Calaethis and sat down by the shore of small lake, where Zachana came and nuzzeled her hair.
