I agree!!!! Lock them in Firewine Bridge once adventurers have cleared the area out of treasure. Put in something that you can speak to them with and a bit of magic should make you a god in their eyes. Then persuade them to attack the BYOB. HAHAhahahaha!!!!!

As an archer I must say that I love kobolds. I like to think of them as my little returning arrows. I shoot one and get twenty back. Now how is that for convenient! Plus my brother was killed when he first left Candlekeep, by a Kobold with a lucky shoot. So Mr. Baggins you may want to keep the location of your little village a very confidential matter.

Even stalwart KAK members cannot (in good conscience) proselytize a "concentration-camp" mentality. If the Kobold is to be shown due consideration amongst the species of the Sword Coast, we must extend to them the very cornerstone foundations of society that we hold dear.

However, we should not simple promote such an activity without consideration for the majority of the Sword Coast peoples. If Kobolds are given a sanction of free-reign, we cannot expect them to do aught but live up to their reputations. Others will suffer, and that is what we are trying to avoid. Mr Underhill is trying at least to seek an activity-based (early) learning centre approach with his Kobold community village. For that he is to be commended, but we are still waiting for solid proof of positive feedback from the camp. Our beloved Chair Legolas has requested an update as such, if I may speak on Legolas' behalf, yet none has been forthcoming.

KAK's other concerns haven't been addressed in any capacity either. We fear for the social/political strata of (pre-Reformation) Kobold society. I believe that it is egregious on the part of BYOB that a KAK member must ask about the welfare of a Kobold. I state this in the firm hope that others will not see KAK as a mere bludgeon with which to keep the Kobolds in their present sorry state.

May I also state that it is good to see young memebers of Faerûn society so willing to invest their time and money on an in-depth (and hopefully) substantial review of the present geo-political theatre of the modern Sword Coast demographic. Progress at last?

I noticed that Kobolds were in the manual as evil rat-like creatures with a speech like a dog yapping and limited intelligence. How could they learn our language then if when you try to get close they try to put 50 arrows in you.

The language of the kobolds is much more refined than what our Wilma Flintstone seducing member of congress, grungi, has exhibited to us. If you doubt my statement, just look at his previous post. I dare say that Lord Brass' statements shall receive nothing but agreement from me. That's not to say that I am now a card carrying member of the KAK, but we must consider all of the social and political ramifications of our integration efforts. I am also pleased to announced that Mr. Baggins Kobold School, has accepted grungi's application, and he will be commencing social etiquette and basic communication skills the next semester.

I must apologize for my previous post, I spoke hastily and with my anger. I admire what Mr. Underhill is trying to accomplish even if his doing it lowers my perception of his intelligence. I have to agree with the others though, just how is this plan going and when will you bring to us an example of a sophisticated Kobold. We wait in anticipation.

as promised before here is my success story about Kobold integration

It was a dark and stormy night, the lonely group of adventurers was ersting in a cave that offered some shelter, the Paladin Narice was sleeping soundly, when suddenly they were startled awake by the guard, a noble and wise little hobbit (a neutral evil halfling thief, but i never detected him for evil) was sounding the alarm. as we sprung from our bedrolls and drew our weapons we fought like madmen, slaughtering the viscious kobolds before we realised what they were, I (Narice) managed to get the group to spare one of them, his name sounded similar to a vulgar noise, and so in the name of reforming him to eventually integrate him into society I renamed him, Fuzzy Lumkins, after many months of protecting him, and teaching him the ways of truth and right, he eventually reformed and (upon the campaign switching to 3ed) became a paladin serving the highest of noble ideals, and protecting those who would scorn him.
I would like to offer my own success story, from page 3 as proof that kobolds can be rehabilitated and become meaningful, contributing members of society.

Ha!Ha! That is the answer, Lord Brass you are a genius! A learning centre indeed, somewhat isolated away from the inhabitants of the Sword Coast. We could build this learning centre on Mt. Nakilgru. It is a fairly isolated region with plenty of food, timber, fresh water and few people seldom go there because of the terrain. We would need funds however to build this facility of learning for the Kobolds and Legolas's contribution to the idea would be a start. The Kobolds sent there will learn about our peoples, our culture, our laws, and to hunt and gather food while respecting the balance, and will not be harassed from our general public with their prejudices. Since young Kobolds are generally abused, or abandoned by their parents at an early age, which probably explains a little of the way they are, I propose, we take these young Kobolds to this learning centre and teach them. Hopefully this project would enable them as a group to establish their own culture in time, different from that of their ancestors, different from ours, and become one of the peoples of Sword Coast. The first ever, Kobold School of Learning.

Morgeruat where is this Kobold that you speak of? I am simply asking Mr. Underhill to bring us a Kobold and let us judge for ourselves if he has been remotely successful. I also suggest we bring a mage so we could see if this Kobold was charmed. Or is Mr. Underhill simply trying to pull a scam, "save the poor kobold, your donations are excepted." and lines of different words. I wish to meet one of his integrated kobolds, and Mr. Underhill, I think it would be appreciated by many of your fans and critics alike.
