Let us be off then friend. Dantes bids his farewell, and again his condolences over the gnome's, loss. And follows Morgeraut out of the bar, leaving the gnome there so sit and look wistfully into his beer, ocassionally taking a deep swallow.

"i don;t know when we leave, caleathis. i hope soon. that ranger said he needed more sleep, but if he had just stayed asleep we might have been off by now. rest is not gotten by getting up int he middle of it."

lythis nods at erilyn.....yes i will come too."i will get my brother so we can go"......with this lythis walks to the door of the elfs room enters and a few seconds later appears at the door. leading the elf towards the party both rangers stop. "so now we must leave" the young elf says sternly.

turning he walks towards the door......"who ever may wish to can come, and yes we must leave now otherwise we will never go" upon saying this walks out of the tavern door.

lythis looks towards the rest of the group..."thats his way of saying thanks...ayway friends looks like it is time lets all do this and do it well for my sake as well as his"...leading the party out the door they prepare for their travels to the mountain wilderness.

(ooc-i will post a new topic outside called 'the wilderness' ...if anyone wants to be DM ask me.)

Krak waits for the others to leave before ordering a final bacon butty for the road, and a last Bugmann XXXXXX. When he's sure enough time has passed to make clear he's NOT part of that party, he exits the bar and follows the group.

The door opens an inch, and a single eye peers in. The place looks deserted.
The door opens further, and a head pops up beside it. His face is shadowed by the darkness of night, but the shape of a beard hints at dwarvish ancestry.

Finding the bar almost entirely empty, Krak shuffles back in and gets himself a room for the night. Yesterday was definately not a good day for slaying.

OOC: Anyone interested in keeping this thread alive?

ooc my last adventure fell through......basically because it was pants , but i tried
ill keep this one alive though. with my new character.

suddenly out of the window you view a peculiar site, a portal opens and there lying on the floor is a hansome stranger, he does not look like anyone you have seen before, his white hair is long and straight like an elf, but his ears are strangly pointed at both ends, and he has a dim glowing auror of light sorrounding him.

getting up he briskly enters the inn and walks up to the barkeep. he is wearing no armour, but he iswearing a fine black cloak on top of his white linen. he has but a single sword flowing a harmonious blue, adorned with runes,and hanging at his waist. it is a strange sword, itis like a small katana, except it is slightly curved.

"hello my dear frind could i please have a pint of your strongest ale.and could you be as kind as to tell me where we are?, my journey through the planes has slightly disorientated me"

A young half-elf falls through the door and cries,"we shall all perish!! The banshees are here!!! I have been clawed and kicked but finally have made my way here.....and...I re..quire.assistance." at that the ranger does not die but merely has passed out.

Half drowsy from the night before, Krak nonetheless snapped back to attention.
Banshees were a serious threat to him for several reasons. First and foremost was their scream. It could kill even the most diciplined man in an instant.
He was not afraid to die, but he wanted to do so in battle. He could not battle a banshee, his axe would cut only thin air.

The Dwarf grabbed the nearest candle and proceeded to put balls of wax in his ears. Then he walked over to the bar.

"I fer one know yer keepin' several Rhun Makaz in 'ere. If'n there's banshees comin' ye'd bet'r let me 'ave one.

Eh? What'd ye say?"
