Calaethis muttered darkly talking about meddlsome drow children that drank aging potions, but still deserved a good thrashing from their mothers.. he glared daggers at Aeirs "I wasn't ordering you wael. I only made a suggest so you'd be not be underfoot all the time," he smiled slightly "this is after all a *family* gathering." and grinned impishly, fully expecting a curt word or a blow from one of the adults - he didn't consider Aeris an adult, since he didnt have the mentality of one.

***OOC bah someguy, you really have to make life difficult dont you? [img]tongue.gif[/img] hmm, how long do you think til one of Lb's char's snaps? or smiles indulgently? I'd give it another two posts or so [img]tongue.gif[/img] ***

IC: Aeris shrugged at what Cal had said. I suppose you are right. But if I AM to dispose of the drow I still would like to have a final word from Alliene or Verloren. They are,after all,the leaders of this party.

Calaethis nodded and bowed sardonically, and half mockingly, "Of course, I wouldn't have it any other way." he grinned up at his cousin, "yes dear cousin, we've finished playing now, really." he smiled gently at her, his eyes filled with affection, warm, trust and love. ic- Skye, walking by when Dameaon burst out of the room in a huff, stopped and peeked in. Seeing some very irate Drow in the room, she thought it wise just to stay out of the room. Sitting herself down next to the door, she pulled her knees up to her chest and rested her chin on them, making sure her hood concealed her features well enough that no one could tell she was half-elf. If she was lucky, her cloak was dirty enough that the smell of half-elf was covered too. Remembering back to when Khalraan had unconciously clung to her and cried during the battle, a tear plopped to the floor, and a single sob wracked her frame, unbidden. "Damion... how could I have forgotten about you... you're probably dead by now, or back and believing that I died..." She clenched her legs tightly with her arms and stared fixedly ahead, not wanting anyone to know of her misery and sudden weakness.

Verloren watched the bickering of the elf and the drow with an amused face, shaking with supressed giggles. Alliene frowned at her then at the two and shook her head,

"You are both wael, by Shar!" she muttered a spell and pointed at the dead warrior, disintigrating him. Her ears pricked up at the sound of a sob at the door. She motioned to Verloren and the 2 walked out to investigate.

With the two women gone, Avalon turned his attention to Calaethis,
"My Lady Verloren I have known little more than a decade, and my Lady Alliene about half that," he scratched the fuzz of his shaved head, "I find it startling how alike they are. Surely a work of the gods. They are young and have already done things to name them in the legends to come. And though I love them both, my heart belongs to Verloren, and hers to me," he sighed happily and sat down next to Zachana with a smile.

Verloren and Alliene both strode out into the hallway and looked at the hunched figure against the wall. Before Alliene could ask what was wrong, Verloren was immediatley on her knees in front of the weeping Skye,
"Why do you weep? You are of my kin, I see," she glanced at her sister and was recieved with a nod, "And a member of my sister's company as well? Stand up. Come on, on your feet," she assisted Skye and hustled her into Alliene's room, looking around at the company, then turning to Alliene, "I think we are in need of some new clothing, especially the elf child. Maybe some new weapons too?"

Alliene sighed, she knew that would have happened sooner or later, "Of course. There is a fine blade smith and tailor shop here. You and I will pay. You have the rain repellent spell do you not?" Verloren nodded, "Excellent, then lets go," she shook Kharlaan gently and guided him with her hand in his.

Calaethis glanced up at his cousin, his eyes earnestly asking her if she wanted him to stay or go. "Will Zachana and Lord Avalon be accompanying you, and Lady Verloren?" he asked his cousin softly. Cal almost never used formal titles for his cousin, or her dragon, but dicieded to address Verloren as 'lady' until she told him otherwise (hint, hint LB

btw, I spelt all you impossible names correctly didnt I?

).

He glanced over at the elf child, whose name he'd conviently forgotten, Kharlaan or something, and asked him quietly "Are you all right now?", for the most part, Cal liked everyone in their little group with the exception of shadow, whom he actively disliked, (the character dolt, not the actual person), Aeris he'd decided was annoying, but then, what drow wasn't... Still he was able to get along with him, he thought about the other members of their group, and smiled to himself, Skye, he decided was nice enough, even though his cousin didn't get along with her. Lady Verloren he liked, so far, she'd been nice to him, and didn't appear to be like some of the other royal elves he'd met... which was good. He shook his head with wry amusement and waited for his cousin's reply.

***OOC, Got bored and wanted to post more [img]tongue.gif[/img] btw, is Dameon still rping this? since his char stormed off I mean - anyway, catch ya all later.
edit: LB - what class is Verloren? I checked back to when she first arrived, and I don't think you posted her class. Altho, I think you *did* mention she was a blademaster

but some character info would be appriciated. Btw, you said "half elf", and considering you said "untainted" I'm tempted to think she's half dragon... *cough* anyway, post some char info for her

is she staying with us perminantly or for a while?

I like her, let her stay, pleeeeeeease? *grins* ***

Verloren will be pure fighter for this RP, since I don't need another fighter/mage. She also will have a few classes in Cleric for the healing skill she possesses [img]smile.gif[/img] . And she really is half-elf, half elf half human, no dragon blood [img]tongue.gif[/img] . And she is a permanent member

and just so you wont fuss at me when you get back, ill post too. it wont be anything that will dramatically affect the plot or anything, so you wont be missing anything when you're gone.. [img]smile.gif[/img]

ic- Skye's ears burned with shame at the thought of someone overhearing her cry. She wasn't usually the "breakdown and sob" type, and hated it when she did. Everyone had been so nice to her, even Alliene in her own stand-offish way, and she felt that she ought to contribute too, instead of being a pathetic half-elf. She'd never get anyone's respect if she didn't pull herself together and out of this slump she'd been in. "Um, I heard there was a conflict over Khalraan," she said softly. (ooc- sorry if i spell your name wrong, im known for being bad with names...) "I could look after him and make sure he doesnt get in trouble, if no one minds. I know I wouldn't..." she smiled hesitantly at the young elven child, who was holding Alliene's hand.
