The stone perpetally began to roll right next to Skye and was a few inches from just rolling over the side of the stone walkway they were standing on into they abyssmal blue pit...

The red haired figured raised his hands into the air and began to shout incantations in an odd language...

ic- Skye glanced between the stone and Corbescant and back. Setting her mouth firmly, she lunged and grabbed the stone. Clutching it close to herself, she stood up, looking about anxiously to see what would happen.

The dark shadowy blob on the floor took form of a serpant which leapt from the ground and straight at skye just before it attacked her a red beam of light shot throgh the sky, peircing the serpant and making it explode, it then reutnred to a puddle state and it slid over the ledge and drizzled down into the darkness...

The red haired entity began to glow and his face lit up in a comforting smile... he levitated past everyone and over to Skye...

he held a hand out, palm down, and with it a light began to shine down on Morgan Corbesant. Morgan began to choke and inhale, ghasping for air which had long since left his lungs. He held an arm out to prevent skye from checking on Corbesant again and looker her in the eye. She saw the whites of his eyes were a dark navy blue, though from afar they seemed black. His pupils shone a bright red, and in the back of his eyes shimmering lights in clouds could be seen, as if a raging storm was going on inside of them...

He spoke softly...

"Can I have my stone back?"

he said it very comfortably and convincingly, his pale skin emminating with an aura the likes of which she had never seen, the side of his face was tatood or stained with something to make it a dark black... it was the only part of him which did not seem to shine...

Skye looked at him and then at her friends and back again, uneasily. "How do I know I can... trust you?" she asked him hesitantly, obvious of his powers.

IC: Talthus looked deep into Skye's eyes "there is no other way. I have not used such power against any of you up to this point...and there is no reason for it now." Talthus stares deeply into Skye's hesitant eyes and notices the confusion and fear within her. "I cannot bring myself to harm any of you while such a vile place may exist around me..."

ic- Skye looked uncertainly at him, then looked at the remains of the black snake thing. Setting her mouth into a determined line, she looked back up at the red haired creature, and held her hand out to him palm upwards, the stone held within it.

IC: Talthus slowly lowers himself to take the stone from Skye. As he does so the aura seems to grow stronger momentarily at the moment of contact and then goes back to normal. "thank you" He quietly says and moves back a foot then closes his eyes...

OOC: pushes the button to make the beep noise queuing Death to burst in and open a new world of cavey darkness and plottey goodness! heheheh kicking ass so far dude, even though it's lasted quite a while...

OOC: I know I know...but as you can see, I also act strangely when it's late.

IC: Talthus merely hovers there... "we should continue on...there are more than little monsters like the one which attacked you waiting for us below...and we will destroy them...ALL!"

OOC: maybe we should let it sit until Death has posted...but then again, Skye you do have the imagination of a lemur (that's right...I said lemur!)

"Allow me to save you the time and trouble" a voice boomed from upper parts of the cave...

suddenly there was a loud explosion sound behind the heroes, they turned and saw a figure who had appeared out of nowhere standing in a crater on the rock bridge...

"MY FATHERS STONE!" he shouted, while remaining calm... looking up through an exotically shaped helm. His outfit was an exotic armor crafted from black dragon scales. He held out a palm and a wave of energy rushed over the entirety of the cave, it made an ominouse booming noise which shot up and was amplified by the inner walls of the cave. all of the Mykridia fell over dead.

he threw an arm back and all of the courpses began to roll, litterally across the ground into a single pile. Raising his arms up an energy surrounded the mound of flesh and in seconds a sewn-together monstrocity arose from the pile...

"My Twisted Resurection Shall Handel you now!" he spoke very calmly

The figure then leapt up into the air, creating a sound similar to a sonic boom, the ground which Skye and the others was standing on began to break apart, the bridge they were on was going to collapse, suddenly the courpse and bone like golum began to run toward the bridge and upon setting foot on the bridge broke it apart, forcing it to collapse under its weight, while rushing forward, still, to attack them...

The stone which talthus has receivd grants him the following spells:
Descent into Madness, Explosive Runes, Turn undead, Wail of the banshee, Create lich, bestow curse, and an HP draning technique (on the caster) called "Dark Wave" which deals what the PC handbook defines as "ultimate" damage. It also allows him wingless flight 24/7 at his normal walking speed in all directions while clenched in the palm.
