Skye noticed corbesant's hand twitch for a second, could it be?

It remained still again... The dark figured continued to hover in mid air, looming in shadow above the blue-lit enterior of the caves, the hallway lined in skulls, the flesheaters backing down from their master snarling, drooling, bowing, their pale flesh with exposed marrow creating shadows that danced about in the wicked lighting... the heroes looked at the figure now... he lifted a hand, exposing a bright red crystal...

"This is the tool by which no man has lived..." smoke exhaled from where his mouth elegedly was in the darkneess...

"Do you dare to test it?"

He was challanging them to attack first...

IC: Talthus steps forward, sword in one hand, power stone in the other. He slowly begins to turn to stone as his sword glows red and casts stoneskin upon him. (I'm going to use the power stone to raise my str please, and I will also use rage, if you need to know the stats for that then I'll post them)...

OOC: I'm glad to see others are finally posting now

oh and the first attack I make with my sword that hits him, I will be using stun [img]smile.gif[/img]

Skye realised that she was the only one to see the hand move. Or maybe it was all a figment of her imagination. Hoping against hope, she looked downwards, her body still trembling. To others, it looked like she was merely going to go into a rage against the evil creature. In reality, she was whispering a potent healing spell in elvish, so softly that unless you had been looking for it specifically, you couldn't even see her lips moving. She directed the spell at Corbescant, her frame trembling in concentration. "Please dont be dead," she thought to herself desperately. "We've lost so many already..."

ooc- ill be out the rest of this week, visiting relatives. I'll try to access the internet, but im not promising anything. In the meantime, have a wonderful thanksgiving everyone! ^.^

The Dark Figure stood poised for combat the sword struck him and the effects threw him off guard,

Corbesant's limp body seemed to jostle for a moment... or perhaps it was the shockwaves of the powerfull sword and stone's effects washing over the cave...

The flesh eating Mykridia started crawling backward, drooling, but now showing some fear...

their "Great leader" rested for a moment in a position with his hands brought back... "Huh?" He suddenly realized that he was unable to move... his left hand in a dramatic position, a red ruby colored stone started rolling from the palm of his hand and caught between his thumb and forefinger, it was so round and sphericle that it was begginging to slip out...

"nnnO.." He muttered through stunned lips... "nn-nn-NNO!"

The Mycridia now looked frightened...

"you were too cocky..." a voice called out from the depths of the cave, it began erupting around the walls of the cave...

"wha- what?"

An darker figure, with some lights prancing about him lifted himself up from the depths of the cave having mounted a Pegasari... It's wings fluttering violently to keep them hovering, it continued to do so until it quickly learned that it didnt have to to stay afloat... something ELSE was keeping them suspended in the air... Was it the Rider?

"Heh" The dark man said with the crstal slipping from his hand... "It will take much more than this to stop me..."

"Will it now?"

There was something about that red orb int hat shadowy hand... despite its unsafe nest, it seemed to call out to everyone in the room, even the mykridia seemed hyptnotized by it, all but Skye who had her eyes transfixed on Corbesant, hoping for him to soon breathe...

IC: Talthus's face is in a fiercely twisted state as he stares up with hatred from his seemingly frozen body. "Indeed, it will take more than the likes of that which you can do to finish me..." He momentarily glances at the round stone as it moves a tiny bit more out of his grasp...

The dark figure dropped the stone and it rolled across the ground right in front of everyone, they could literally just bend over and pick it up...

The looming entity began to disaperate and tear apart. He shreiked with rage and collapsed onto the floor in a pile which quickly turned into a substance similar to oil which slid across the ground and began lurching toward the jeweled rock now sitting perfectly still on the ground...

"DONT LET HIM TOUCH IT!" the hovering entity with red hair shouted to the others...

ic- Skye wanted to go and grab the stone from the living ooze, but she was loath to leave Corbescant when she thought she had a chance of restoring him to health. 'Please get up~!' she thought desperately to herself, urging him mentally to become concious again.
