OOC> Sorry i haven't responded, the weather was nice so when i got home from school, I was out with my sister playing hackysack.

"On a more happier matter, I have 'stumbled' upon a large sum of 1500 gp. What should we use it for? I was thinking to make repairs on streets, improve our sewer systems, totally renevating the city. Then whatever is left over will go to the departments. Does anyone have any other ideas, like buildings or anything?"
Dark Man- He sits quietly huddled in a corner, eyeing everyone suspiciously as if someone was going to make an attack. With his left arm, he clutches his right rib, as it continues bleeding. He then speaks, "Maybe, the money can be used to build a hospital. I could sure use one... By the way, I haven't yet introduced myself. I am the Samurai from Kara-tur named Ytoshinomo (Ya-tosh-in-oh-moe is the pronounciation). But do continue with the meeting."

SEFA (Her Master tosses her a small bag with the correct amount of taxes in it, and tells her to deliver them. She goes to the front and gives the bag to Secretmaster, a little embarrassed by the fact that her clothing is rather immodest. But, that's what her beloved Master wants)

A voice rises from the back of the meeting, it appears that the shadow is talking. "I agree to be a successful town we must present a strong unified front. But I would also like to make this one of the most beautiful cities in all of IW. I will donate, in addition to my taxes, a portion of funds to cover the construction of a beautiful fountain to be constructed near the cities gate in honor of Ziroc. If you accept my offer. I also have no small magical talent and I would be more than willing to lend that to you for use in creating defenses to better fortify our town."

I am Zachary Thorrson, Chosen of Odin, and I would like to establish a temple to the All-Father in your fair town. I would be happy to offer any aid or healing that is needed." ~ Zachary turns to look at the Samurai~ "I could fulfill many other functions as well. The All-Father expects his clerics to be physically fit and ready for battle at a moments notice. I could help with the building of the walls and I pledge my service to the defense of Waterdale, if you accept me into town. In return, I ask for a suitable building to serve as my temple and the opportunity to spread the word of the All-Father and his fellow gods and goddesses. Many and great are the tales of valor that surround the likes of Thor, Tyr, Heimdall, and the other guardians of Midgard. What say you, has the favored cleric of Odin found a home, but must my journey continue elsewhere?"

Caladar listened to the meeting with growing delight. A mayor that had recently "found" a large some of money and several inhabitants who seemed to be eager to simply throw money away. Yes indeed...this was his kind of town. This pompous-sounding showed no signs of growing short-winded, so Caladar snuck down the hallway and reached into a pouch on his belt, removing a small cannister of reddish-brown dye. He quickly applied some to his face and then reached into another pouch. He retrieved a quarterstaff out of this one. His improptu disguise complete, he quickly returned the dye back to its pouch. He snuck back to the doorway to await the end of the meeting.

While everyone is distracted by the town meeting something happens at the edge of town. A large river slowly fades into existence, neither of it's ends can be seen as they stretch off into the distance.
