T'Lara came upon the still slightly burned Beau and took a jar of salve from the pouch at her waist. Shush, silly man...this will neutralize the remainder of the acid and allow the burns to heal.

Seeing he was begining to feel relief, she then launched into a verbal tirade...What in the nine hells did you tink you were doing taking on Neb? Did you not realize he could toast you to a cinder and not think twice over it? Men! You all act like such children sometimes. Which way did your cohort in stupidity go?

She followed the sounds of loud passing through the woods though she could not see an actual person. Knowing that it could be the mage Neb and, judging by the rather off-key singing, likely a highly intoxicated Neb, she checked her step to remain several feet behind. Soner or later the invisibility spell would wear off as would the drunkeness and he would be more approachable. For the meanwhile, all she could do was try and ensure he did as little damage to the woods and its denizens as possible.

(OOC: Don't worry, a drunk Neb is a harmless, wierder than usual and very friendly Neb, he won't hurt anything.... Unless he happens to accidentially fall on it.)

After half an hour or so of walking Neb keels over from the intoxication and, snoring slightly, he sleeps on the forest floor, his invisibility wears off not long after.

(OOC: Neb's tower and the area 100 feet from it is now a highly toxic zone, Beau torched hundreds of potions and melted a lot of magical items, so the magical radiation there is also rather dangerous.)

Dagorion, after regaining conciousnes from hitting his head on the table Dagorion realizes with great relief that the lady from the Order had left without him. He decides to go back to the garrison and leaves the inn only to find the street out side in shambles. Realizing that Neb must have something to do with this, Dagorion blows his whistle and almost instantly 5 guards wer running up the street behind him as he wentin search of the cause of the disturbance...

Practically stumbling over the suddenly visible and snoring Neb, T'Lara checked for injuries that might need immediate healing. Arranging him in a more comfortable position off the path, she then started toward his now defunct tower, planning the wards needed to cordone it off until the emanations subsided. Mages think they have the market on all things magical, she thought with a derisive snort, but Nature ultimately is stronger than even the worst of them.

Seph heard Neb's loud singing and immediately went to the source. Not long after, he found Neb passed out in the forest, snoring loudly. Gently he hoisted the wizard up and over his shoulder and carried him back to the cells.

No one seems very excited about it, probably because it is a duegar, but his body was found within my warrant, and I am duty bound to find out if there is a murderer roaming the countryside. What I really need to know is, how long it has been since he was killed, and maybe something about the killer."

Well Galadria, Tao's own wondrous speciality is locational workings, while I have other, less recognized manners of doing so. she can help if no one else can, I'm sure. If not, then please do not hesitate to ask me and i'll see what I can do in my small way.

What I came to speak with Tao about, however, is whether she would be willing to help me place wards around Neb's tower until the magical emanations fade away to a safe level.....

He tosses the reins of his charger to the stableboy, and opens the front door with his magical key. The cook and houseman bring in the various packages that they have brought from the metropolis. One lang roll of carpet is unrolled after the servants leave. The form of a young girl, bound and gagged is revealed. He unties her.) "All right, Sefa, that's your name isn't it? You are to work here for Mistress Veldrin. You will find me a fair master, as long as I hear no poor reports from her, and then we shall see. You may sleep in the garret."
