And so, with their visions restored, the group happily marched through the hallways, spinning Link (whoops, here I go again... *sigh*) spinning Link and Legolas (better? )around to pick their way through the mazelike area. Eventually they saw a bright light coming from a passage to their right, so they headed in that direction. Legolas looked up toward the source of the light to find himself blinded once more. He decided not to look straight into a light again if he could help it...

"Jeez!" Mazaker belches "you'd think they'd tone it down a bit here. where's the bogs? aah - here will do"

Mazaker relieves himself on one of the hall columns

"Aaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!"

"Right - where we all off to? and WHERE'S THE BLOODY PUB?"

After a short while, Mazaker has sobered up (no booze here to keep him drunk)

"What the f***?"

he looks about the place atthe columns and halls and lights

"don't tell me this is heaven? if it is, I want out of it - they won't have any pubs or fighting, will they?"

"And what ARE we doing here anyway?"

OOC- *scratches head* er, I'm back... ^_^;; doesn't look like you did too much, hehe.
---
IC- Skye jumps up after recovering from being squashed by LS, and notices the group from the Bar stumbling a little bit ahead of her, down the hall. She rushes to catch up, then proceeds to take the lead again. ^_^ The passageway finally ended in a huge cavern, made entirely of white granite and crystal. Everyone looked around for a bit, awed. They finally noticed the door at the other side. Funny that they hadn't noticed it before, considering how big it was. The doors were silver, with white gold filigre (sp?) on it in intricate designs. Lyulfe scratched at it with his claws, thoughtfully. The scratches he made instantly disapeared.
**Well, we aren't going to get through by force** Lyulfe thought to the whole group. **Perhaps we should go back and take one of the other two corriders?**
They turned around, only to discover that the entrance had somehow disapeared without them noticing. Some torches hidden in crevasses in the walls of the cavern burst into flame, causing the entire room to glitter blindingly. After blinking a few times, Skye spoke up.
"Ok, is this a joke? What are we supposed to do? Isn't there supposed to be a puzzle or test or something?" As Skye said these words, the light turned into a fierce glow, blinding everyone. As it faded, everyone looked around in surprise, as they noticed some objects throughout the room, that hadn't been there before.
----
OOC- Um, I was thinking of some sort of puzzle that they have to solve in order to get past the silver gates. (should've been pearly gates, I suppose, but oh well. ^_^) I don't think necessarilly (sp?) killing monsters or anything, since that doesn't seem exactly appropriate. something that forces everyone to work together to accomplish/solve, that tests their skills besides fighting (loyalty, magic ability, strategizing ability (planning, thinking, etc), etc,etc...) something like that. I wasn't sure what exactly though, so maybe someone else wants to decide? perhaps LS or Nanobyte? It's just an idea... ^_^

OOC: Hmm... I've just managed to get back to the forums after a bunch of tech problems with my computer and a large workload from school, and I noticed that (at least some people) seem to have actually given stats, etc for their chars on this thread... (well, I noticed Tiamat did, anyway, or at least he did before Lor Shield asked him to change his char...) hmm... eh... 2 questions, then: First, is there any room in your current adventure for any more people, and second, eh... Lord Shield, you mentioned 3rd Edition templates... eh... could you by any chance be able to help me with this 3rd Edition character creationish type stuff for this thread (if there's any room left, anyway)? I know next to nothing about 3rd Edition... Is there anything involving a good deal of chaos and magic type stuff? Thanks. I'll go back to reading the rest of this thread... (...too many ...s...)

Neb impatiently waits for everyone to GET MOVING so they can find some nice magical treasure instead of just standing around here, to relieve his boredom, he uses a spell to examine everyone in the group's magic resistance, discovering that Legolas has the lowest one, he turns him into a chicken and summons a rabid squirrel to chase him.

Sorry for not posting lately. I've been REALLY busy. I'll try to get things flowing again by next week. Until then, do whatever you like (that is, except abandon the quest )

OOC: Hmm... can misfunctioning, chaotic magical transport spells get you into the heavenlyish type places (such as where the party seems to be right now, if I remember what I read corectly)? Becuase I don't want to have to go through the whole problematic "That's impossible!" business that happens at times...
