V'CENZAH(Her party quickly wipe out the poorly-armed Pseudoarachnids, and competently go to work, setting up an assay and mining facility. Soon, trams full of ore are on their way back to the ship, guarded by her team.)

Neb took a quick trip into the ship's hold, when reached it he headed for some innocent-looking crates in the corner and opened one of them.

He reached inside and pulled out a large cocoon-ish thing, green and covered in slime it pulsed slowly in his hands, like a steady heartbeat.

He put it on the ground and proceeded to pull out several more, afted doing so he closed the crate again and left the hold.

In the darkness of the hold, the cocoons, now freed from the confines of the crate, began growing, changing..... And later.... Bursting open...

Neb watched the security cameras lazily from the bridge, he'd already set the important ones to running a looped picture, disguising the creatures now unleashed.

He'd also blocked all radio transmissions from the security check crews, noone else had noticed that they'd already lost 33 men in the lower cargo bay.

A lone marine, dressed in ripped armor, dripping blood on the floor entered the bridge and collapsed, Neb went over to him, intending to break his neck before anyone else could hear what he said, unfortunately he'd already been joined by several officers, the wounded marine managed to gasp out a few words, "Creatures... In the hold... Killing everyone, destroying everything.... Stop them...."

Neb arose and looked around at the surprised officers, in a commanding tone he said, "Can't you see we've got a situation here? Divert all security crews to the cargo bay, these things must be stopped before they kill us all!"

Neb knew that there was no chance of that happening though, they'd all been programmed to leave him alone, not ALL of the crew would be killed....

As an extra precaution to ensure maximum mayhem he disabled the security locks on the security stations containing weapons and armor in the hold, now the marines faced not just large, ferocious and violent beetle-like creatures, but large, ferocious and violent beetle-like creatures with guns and armor!

[b]TERRAN SHIP JOLINUS[B]

-------------

Zeebok spoke into the microphone and his voice echoed through the whole ship, "The terran host ship Helaqun has vanished off the scanners, the last reading of them shows them making a descent onto the planet. I will take a JetPod to the surface to see if anything is wrong. Out." The captain turned and headed to the hanger bay. On his way he came across Herno, "Officer, I will leave the Jolinus in your command while I check this out.", "Pleasure Sir" replied Herno with a salute and he continued on his way. Zeebok chose the closest available JetPod, fired it, opened the hanger doors and shot off to the planet.

As he drew closer to the planet he picked up an energy signal matching that of the Helaqun, he jetted over to it. He landed the vessel beside the Helaqun and got out. The ship looked like it was incapable of flight for a while. There was no one around the ship but a dead chewed up terran body at the door, so he went inside. "Hey, hey captain are you in here?" He yelled, there was no reply. He went up to the bridge and looked around. All the computers were blank, obviously the power was out. He found a Note-Tablet on the desk. He flicked it on (it ran by batteries) and he navigated to the latest page of entrys, they wern't in any particular sequence, the captain just wrote in it when something major happened to the mission, the captain was like that in every thing he done thought Zeebok to himself, unordily.

Captains Log
After securing the terran vessel Jolinus and finding it far to large and bulky for scout use, Zeebok and I decided to infest a smaller terran ship nearby. We sent some infintry in without much resistance, there were about twenty terrans onboard and they were no match. Zeebok and the others went back to command the Jolinus and I took this ship to scout the surface of a nearby planet.

I have just found three more terrans onboard the ship, they had locked themselves in a secret communication room in the rear of the ship, they were trying to make contact with another ship in the area. I captured them and locked them up in the cargo bay.

Two of the prisioners escaped and were tearing around the ship madly yelling and screaming somehing I didnt understand. They managed to disturb one of the control pannels and we crash landed on the planet's surface probably sustaining large damage. I captured the escapees and killed one and threw him out of the ship. The other got away, but I dont think he'll get far. The last one is still locked up and I doubley secured the locks on him, he may make a good host in the future. I will need to inspect the ship and make sure the run away hasnt got far. Zeebok will be here soon to check out what hapened, he is so loyal to his master, that Zeebok.

"Talk about loyal," muttered Zeebok, "I'm always saving his sorry ass."

OOC: Welcome to theaboard Golden Flubba

IC: There was now fierce fighting going on on the two ships. From a reasonably secure bridge, the sub-commander watched as the cargo ship fired up it's engines to leave the planet's gravitational field.
Doubtlessly someone had ampered with it's engines as the ship suffered a cato (OOC: catastrophic engine failure where the engines blow out the front of the ship ). The erupting flames cast the ship into an eerie glow as giant mechanical contraptions and warpcores alike burst out of the vessle.
Sir Legolas turned his eyes from the beautiful, but grim, lightshow, knowing that now there would reign total panic on board, the fighting set in orange lights, flames scorching men and aliens alike as they exchanged laser pulses. The bridge was likely fully destroyed now, and no doubt doors were hastily being losed to limit hte decompression.
Men would be locked in rooms that would likely become their tombs, either by the beetles, through starvation or some ohter cause. Some might be beamed off the ship, but most would not come out alive.

He thanked the Weisi the cargo ship was the one with the least crew members, and vital only while the pulsar intrifier was still under constrction. If the engineers survived, if his ship survived, they would be able to complete their mission despite the loss of the ship.

The Sir left the bridge, guarded by nearly a dozen of men to find the High Admiral. His death would no doubt upset the Extrannigans, and he had information vital for their plan to take the planet Earth.
