I'd recommend you save your money for another game, I rented BG-Dark Alliance and finished it in two days of light gaming. I suggest you buy the fantastic "Skies of Arcadia-Legends", a fantastic game and undoubtedly the best RPG on the Gamecube right now. "Edge" thinks so too
 BG-Dark Alliance is more of a Diablo-style game, not the traditional RPG availiable on the PC. Its an OK game but there's better stuff around IMO. Still if you like quick spurts of gaming it might be your thing. (The X-box version is the best in terms of actual gameplay and graphics as the Gamecube version tends to suffer from slowdown in certain parts of the game as it is a direct port of the PS2 version. A little work was done on the X-box version before being released, making it slightly more easy on the eyes and smoother all round). |
