I got this in E-mail from the head of the department here at university thought some of you might be interested (for whatever reason...).
--------------- Google, Inc., the search engine company based in Mountain View, California, USA, is recruiting native speakers of Dutch, French, Italian, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish and Danish to help with search quality evaluation. Work is part-time on a project-by-project basis, and paid by the hour. Evaluation projects can be done through internet access from home anywhere in the world. Candidates must be immersed in their native (web) culture but also fluent in English, comfortable with browser use and the basic mechanics of internet searches, and generally skilled at analytical tasks. Only if currently U.S.-based must candidates have a U.S. work permit. To apply, please send your resume to ndoubson@google.com. ------------------ Note it doesn't mention Icelandic, the head of the Department is Australian and why she posted this on the department postlist is beyond my understanding... there are 3 foreigner studying at the departemnt and they are all native english speakers... weird Anyway like I said, just thought some might be interested... |
