welp i did spellhold, when i was ready to go to spellhold yoshimo wasnt in the coronet anymore so i spawned him using clua n had him join up so i could get his hearth. well he betrayed me irenicus did his lil tale how yoshi is his servant

i escape the labyrinth beat irenicus with the help of the ever mighty TIAX
he escapes and summons some ''murderers'' but no yoshimo no speech , no tale , nothing about his hearth.
is there anyway i can trigger this? id like to see the conversation.
i dont just wanna spawn the hearth eventho that would be a possibility

im guessing things went wrong because your not supposed to get yoshimo whne you start doin the tasks for bohdi, (he wasnt in the coronet anymore)

so , am i doing something wrong?
or is it a bug, ifso how can i force the convo and him giving my hearth

if no other ideas, just give me the name of his hearth i guess n il clua it *SIGH*

thanks !

Uh, spelling...

SPOILER

Yoshimo betrays you when you get to Spellhold (that's the situation with murderers) and he drops (i'd sooner say that you dig in his chest with your sword ) his heart when you kill him.

Then you can bring his heart to temple to redeem him, because he didn't betray you on purpose. He was on geas.

uhh yea sorry bout that.
my story is a mess, even i couldnt make any sense out of it.preciate the reply tho.

my problem was, that i did not face yoshimo at the fight with irenicus in spellhold, i only faced nameless guys, ie ''murderers'' and none of the murderer corpses had a hearth on them,
but he did betray me, n he was present when my soul was being stolen by irenicus.so that part of the plot did happen.
i tought this (him not being at the actual fight) mightve happened because of a bug caused by the fact that i spawned yoshimo using clua, u see i planned on recruiting yoshimo just before i would sail off to spellhold BUT he wasnt in the copper coronet when i came looking, therefor i could not recruit him.this messed up my plans. so i had to....... improvise.

also i sorta figured, when he died he would explain you about the whole gaes thing in a last minute conversation... apprently i was wrong. i guess youl learn about the gaes as you progress then. from irenicus or something.

this means i didnt miss anything, so il just use clua to create the hearth n take what is rightfully mine.
hope this is a bit more clear, but hey i am a EURO afterall...

So what? I am in Europe as well. (I hope that at least some of you heard of my homeland) I bought my lame knowledge of english with my blood...

Back on topic, I've just had a conversation with Irenicus and Yoshimo (I was in glass cage). Yosh said something about "DEATH, DEATH EVERYWHERE" which reminded me on geas, but neither one of them mentioned "geas". They were both very obscure about reason of betrayal. But it was obvious that Yosh wasn't very willful to do it.

The bug was indeed caused by your use of CLUA, Eternal. I don't know why Yoshimo was anywhere other than the Copper Coronet (DOES Yoshimo give you the option to say "Just wait right here" when you boot him), but when you use CLUA to add a character like that, it's not the real character. The real Yoshimo is still alive and well, somewhere in Amn.

What interests me is that
1) The flag for "Yoshimo betrays you" WAS set, and
2) The flag for "Yoshimo attacks the party and has dialogue" was NOT set.
I can only surmise that the game could somehow tell that the Yoshimo it removed from the party when Flag 1 was activated was not the REAL Yoshimo (who is still wherever you left him), and so Flag 2 failed to activate.

Don't use CLUA to spawn Yoshimo's Heart. It's just EXP. As a general rule, don't cheat at ALL on your first game, unless something is obviously a bug. Play it straight, the first way through, and save your cheating for later.

"Heart" = vital organ, about the size of your clenched fist, that pumps blood through the body.
"Hearth" = flame-retardant surface, usually brick or tile, in front of a fireplace.

If you have trouble remembering things in the game (such as where you dropped Yoshimo), you can go to your Journal and write notes to yourself. It's in the section marked "User." I find it very handy sometimes.

IIRC, Yoshimo won't mention the Geas when he first betrays you. Irenicus clues you in when he reveals himself in Spellhold & you get a few "why, Yoshimo?!?" dialogues, but no real answer. Then, when you're "in the glass cage," you can ask Yoshimo a few more leading questions, but he still won't really tell you (& Irenicus will interrupt him).

You have to get through the whole dungeon, to the point where you would normally fight Yoshimo (& the murderers) before he comes to you & explains why he had to do what he did & asks you to redeem him (I'm not positive, but you may have to choose the "why, Yoshimo?!?" type responses again, rather than the "die, traitor!" responses to get him to mention the whole geas story).

In any case, that's when you would normally acquire his fireplace... I mean heart.

yes but this isnt cheating. ive been planning from the very start to take yoshimo to spellhold and gain the experience (i really need it).

then when im finally about to set sail yoshimo goes missing, that just downright sux.
and i didnt drop him somewhere, in earlier saves hes still there in the coronet.but i did to much to return to that save backup, ie nalias keep trademeet, planarsphere.

i dont consider it cheating,,,,,,,,at all
and its not like spawned yoshimo in spellhold or something, i did it in the copper coronet where i came looking for him, well in front of the coronet.
