Im about 99% sure it does. Its still a relatevly new game(what with being out this side of the millenia), so i think Microsoft would make it so that games designed for Win 95 will still work with XP.

More likely than BG2, making me about 99.9% sure it will . I can almost guarentee that itll work, since its a very new game. In case youre gonna ask, im pretty sure bg1 and iwd1 will work too. and planescape, for that matter.

100% is closer to the truth, actually... I've got XP and the games run properly, no complaints whatsoever. If you're for some strange reason unable to play these games, it's not XP that's to blame, but something else, I reckon.

Windows XP is the best operative system out there for PC gaming though its still kinda crap. And by that I mean it beats all the older versions of windows like win ME, win2k etc...
And actually, any game would work with win XP.

If you're getting a new PC, i would strongly recommend a partitioned hard drive (or two non-partitioned if you can afford it) with XP as your main OS and something like win98 as a secondary OS. XP will NOT play all games designed for DOS or, in some cases win95 (even with that 'compatability button').

If you don't play older games or are not likely to buy any, then winXP should be fine.

I was a tad disappointed when Magic: The Gathering didn´t run on XP.

A nice dual boot WinXP/98SE system will let you play pretty much any game you want to.
