TL, thanks for the post. I've heard (can't remember from where) that car manufacturers tend to put unattractive bodies on hybrid and alternative fuel cars on purpose to discourage people from buying them. I don't know if it's true or not, but it makes sense. I was looking at hybrids when I was car shopping 7 months ago, and besides the Honda Civic hybrid, which as I recall looked just like the regular civic, all the others were butt ugly. I wasn't able to get one, they were out of my budget, but maybe in another few years I can.
I can't remember if it's Greenland or Iceland, but I heard that one of them is already on a hydrogen based economy (as opposed to our oil based one -- this is not a slam just a term used by the economists, meaning our stuff depends on oil). So, it is possible to do. I for one, am excited to see that Toyota is already test driving autos that emit water instead of toxic fumes. Even if its still several years away before they hit the market, it's still exciting to see new things coming!!

Honestly if you think elektricity is the best way to run a car then ur very naief. After all most of the world's Eletricity is generated by oil and gas, thats no solution for the problem
What can be a solution is Hydrogen gas. If we can find a stable way to make Hydrogen gas without using Elektricity (like we do now) then that's the best fuel you can use because when you burn Hydrogen you create Water only problem with hydrogen is that it's highly explosive
