I've been a slumps ince August. I did purchase NWN, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I've played once or twice since Christmas. Just can't seem to get interested in comp games anymore. I must be getting old. 39 isn't to old is it?

They are MMOG's, you have to pay bigtime for such an addiction

Like you said, sometimes you just need a break. I haven't played CPRGs in ages, and didn't miss it. Now I'm replaying BG1 with the two add-ons (TOTSC and DSOTSC) and I love it!
It was your post about DSotSC that got me playing BG again, I added both add ons and am now working my way to Nashkel

I have currently on my machine the following ...
Fallout
Fallout2
BG:TotSC
BG2:ToB
IWD:HoW
IWD2
NWN
Morrowind (New and Haven't gotten past the first quest)
DAoC
PoR: RoMD
Arcanum (New and played maybe 2 hours worth)
Septerra Core
Thief

Sigh.

So this would be a great time to paint some of my 25mm Fantasy Figures. But, as with the CRPGs...no desire. I suppose the Amber Trumps are calling though. At least I am not in a complete funk. Nice to know there are others out there who suffer this fate...Misery and company you know. The big question though is what do you do to get out of it?

Arrrrgh!

Know what you mean, I've got a few shooters (rainbow 6, rogue spear, addons, halflife, ghost recon, and so on) I haven't finished, and I also have ultima ix, all of the baldurs gate adventures, and Jedi Knight II.

I've been concentrating on U9 but i got bored so i decided to remove it to free up disk space (still got the savegames!) and get back into JK2 which I haven't played since last April.

I haven't played BG2 much at all since november, and I haven't played Ghost Recon at all since august. Just didn't feel like it. So I kept logging onto IW!

I've got a portion of my desktop for games.... includes (at the moment) W&W, Divine Divinity, BG, MM6, MM9, and another one that escapes me for the moment. I've been slumping as well... W&W keeps coming back because I'm playing a game that's being chronicled on the WW board.

For a break, I recently broke out Master of Magic from the dusty archives. Was a nice way to get through, and I found that strategy can still overcome just about anything

What's next? Who knows. Perhaps I'll finish up that first-level MM7 party in the tunnels to Eeofol...
