Well, Davros, I've known Colin to be pronounced both ways too. But, AFAIK it's Colin as in "colon cancer."

Co-lin is an uncommon pronunciation of the name, every colin I know personally (granted not many) uses the soft O (cot as opposed to coe)

The board on the site in my sig is a hell os a lot worse though! They celebrate if a thread manages to go ten posts and remain on topic in some way. Everything degnerates into discussions on facial hair, why Kelly Osborne should have been drowned at birth, and what the weather is like...

As to the article, it scares the hell out of me in places. If people are going to describe Islam as a religion of voilence because of their past history then lets stop and take a moment to evaluate all the religions out there shall we? The results aren't all that favourable for any of them...
