Well, there are common folks with gems, a sailor with a very expensive emerald, kids with star sapphires, I found a noble woman once with a potion of master thievery, there is all sorts of stuff to pick pocket. Pick pocket everybody, sooner or later you will find something rather surprising. Also, some nobles wear very expensive jewelry while out walking around, rings, necklaces, etc, all sorts of good stuff waiting to be looted.

Yea people do seem to carry odd stuff. I found another magic ring "Ring of the Ram".Tolgerias in the goverment district has it. I dont know the building name but its the big one near the park . Hmm now to go pickpocket more ppl MWAHAHAHA

It is possible to get two Rings ot the Ram. After you pickpocket him, complete the Mage Stronghold quest and Tolgerias will appear with his 'spare' ring. Kill him, and you have two.

It's even possible to get three Rings of the Ram--although you take a Rep. hit for doing so.

The best use for pickpocket is at minor stores, to build yourself up a massive array of Acid, Biting, Fire arrows/bolts in my humble experience [img]smile.gif[/img]

Also the first time you pass the noble at the center of the govt district - if you speak to him - your thief will automatically pick pocket him and then make a comment about it afterwards

Every now and then you get some nice items pickpocketing the city guards in Athkatla - I've gotten mage scrolls ranging from 6th to 8th level and an Arrow of Detonation. Also there is a noble couple sitting in chairs on the east side of Waukeen's Promenade that has some nice items including several Potions of Extra-healing IIRC.

Try the Arrows of Dispelling in the Bowyer's shop in the Promenade

I always used to pick-pocket the guy in the seas bounty (for the papers) untill I realised yelling at him was enough for him to give them to you. RotR was another one I pick-pocket (how do you get 3 ? don't want it, just curious)
and how do you pick-pocket kangaxx ?

You can get Edwin's Documents by a variety of methods. If you don't want to buy them or steal them, you can simply demand that he hand them over (requires high INT) or "snap his neck quickly and quietly" (requires high STR).

It was originally possible to pickpocket Kangaxx's Lich form (in the second while he's still Neutral towards you) for a duplicate Ring of Gaxx. The BaldurDash patch fixes this, and I wish they would do the same for Tolgerias. (Figure it out for yourself if you want to know how to get 3 Rings out of him--you already have all of the information. )
