Romance With Viconia...

Not sure if I have hit a bug with the Viconia romance....She did start the romance but I said something insulting to her first comment....Now she has not said anything for ages....Have I ruined my chances??
BTW my main character is a male halfling assassin.

Hmmm....IIRC, Vikki won't romance halflings, only humans and half-elves. I'm probably wrong.
The thing with Vikki is to strike a balance between sugary sweet and evil bastard from hell. She'll stop it if you're a bastard, and IMO, she should if you're too nice...
Of course, come ToB (which is when the alignment change is) you can be as sweet as you want to her

Blimey Kaltia....that was a fast reply but its appreciated....I thought that Viconia would only not romance Elves....but I could be totally wrong....maybe she just became angry with my first reply to her....and i wanted to marry her as well (LOL).....Looks like I'll have to find some other woman to flirt with!!
Its just that Viconia is my resident Cleric and I kinda need her in my 4-man party along with my Assassin, Dualled Fighter Mage and Sorceress (Tashia)

Oh, you have to be a REAL bastard to make her physically leave the party. Her romance contains a few tender moments where she lays herself bare, and you gotta recognise those times and say the right thing

If you've screwed up the romance with Viconia, you can always reset your VICONIAROMANCEACTIVE Global variable back to 2 (either by using ShadowKeeper or the CLUAConsole - it will be set to 3 if the romance is over - & she will pick back up where she left off).

If you want to romance her with an "incompatible" race, you can set your CHECKVICONIAMATCH & VICONIAMATCH variables to 1 & all's well.

I think Viconia's Romance is the best next to Jaheira's, but after awhile, she gets on your nerves. But after you sleep with her and she treats you like crap, everything comes back into focus

But yea, it is pretty good. But after the 3rd time when you just, well, lay with her, I never was attacked by the spider queen minions. But then again, I was at Watcher's Keep after beating TDD.

How do you do the reset with CLUAConsole?....I have never used Shadowkeeper and don't intend to start....is there a way to check if the romance has ended??

Ah, you should've asked this a couple of months ago, where I really specialized in the CLUA. But now I remember next to nothing. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
