What bollocks. You say no you look fantastic. If a woman takes offense at that it's not because she's a woman it's because she's a psycho.

If it's any consolation Black Dragon I can say with some certainty that if this chick you like's best friend asked you out, she wouldn't have gone out with you anyway even if you hadn't had this unfortunate incident. If she was any sort of friend that is.

I've liked this girl since the first time I saw her, before it was cause she was pretty(I will admit it), now its for more reasons, and I have always hated her friend, I knew her before her friend, so that makes it so d*** unfair... I can't stand this, I hate her friend, she ruins alot, she gives me constant headaches, she don't know what it means to chillout/calm down, she's to d*** loud and she don't shut up, she's got to much energy. But the girl I like on the other hand, she's quiet, nice (to me anyways), and she's also pretty...

Never went after any gal all my life. Gals just don't interest me for some reason. In fact the only things I've ever 'played' with so far are just my pillows. Plus a rolled-up old mattress sometimes.

Guess I'm just weird... Or blessed, depending on how one looks at it...

Hey man, if I could turn my primal attractions to the opposite sex off like you then I think I'd be more than happy to They are such a terribly distracting bunch

Very true, that one always works like a charm for me And yes, if she got pissed off with me for that you'd better believe I'd be out the door so fast there'd still be a cloud of dust in my imprint left standing in front of her

i am no expert matey but I suggest the following ;

Go to the girl you offended tomorrow (even better if the one you like is there to hear things too) and tell the whole truth - you have a real crush on her friend, you have been building up the courage to ask her out - you were nervous as all hell, and just when you were about to pop the question your world came crashing down and your plans went out the window - you panicked, you got flustered, you offended her and you feel like s*** right now. Apologise for hurting her feelings, and even if she doesn't forgive, at least let her understand. Hell, even take a printout of the old thread (though you might want to edit out anything bad you hadn't really intended to say)

The benefits - you won't feel so bad because you have given an apology that you believe you owe (even though you harbour some ill will for the persistence she showed - don't go there), you have shown the other girl (the one you like) a human side in that you were capable of saying you were sorry, and you have shown that girl that you have feelings for her. Let's face it, if you and her are to ever have any chance, she will need to know the truth about these events (chances are still very slim - but the other way they are zero)

Make your apologies, thank them for the opportunity to set the record straight, and leave. The ball is utterly in the other girl's court - if she truly has any interest at all she will eventually let you know.

What do you stand to lose - not a whole lot that I can see - maybe a little more knock to the pride, but I don't see a whole lot of better options suggested. Honesty for me is the only policy, and sometimes too much gets me into trouble. I still believe that it is the best policy though.

Having said all that, you should also take note of the following :

The Donut Decision : Don't listen to Davros - he knows stuff all about women and he can't hold his Fosters

The Mouse Mantra : Davros - what would that guy know about women - he wears orange robes for stuffs sake.

The Nigel Negation : Your no fun Davros - I'd much rather wrestle with Wolfie

The Wolfie Warble : Listen to Davros? - SWEDISH NO!!!!!!

So the risk is all yours buddy - it's now over to your good friends at this forun to tell you what my advice is worth - just my 2 cents, thank you for listening

Hey, look on the bright side, I can't even get a girl!
Well, bright side for you as in there are people with worse luck, bad for me because then I have to look at my life and feel pity... There I go again.. *breaks out singing (like Donkey) "I'm all alone, there's no here beside me..."*[/QB]
Lilarcor, don't give up my friend. When I was at school I was a quiet studious kinda guy, but when I left I got er well, cool (IMHO!)

All you need is- wear nice clothes- be attentive - be their friend - don't leap on them within 30 secs of meeting - get a decent haircut (no mullets!)
Remember girls are human too, they get freaked out about us just the same as we do about them. And finally, be romantic !.

PS it helps if you start working out, took me 4 years to get big but that really does the trick. This isn't necessary as I didn't start til I was 30 and had no problems between 17 and 30. Oh yeah, helps if they're drunk if you just want a quickie (as we say in the uk)

As for Black Dragon, well I think it's time to look elsewhere.
The fact her friend was "up for it" provrs you've got something anyway. As the guys said, welcome to the world of the laydeez. There will be many others in your life so don't get too downhearted.

I remember when I was about 16, I was on a bus going up town and an old dude asked me what was up, I said, just broke up with my girl, he said don't fret, there'll be more and boy was he right!. So think about that ok?
