Liverpool won! and what a brilliant strike by Murphy, followed by the winner by Owen. Owen is now equal leading goal scorer, with 9 goals (3 in the champ. league)

Arsenal lost to Blackburn 1-2 after an own goal and a seaman blunder - no surprise there Arsenal couldn't beat a 10-man Blackburn with an injured Goalkeeper. It was the third consecutive loss for Arsenal, who must be a little concerned at this stage.

Manchester United could only manage a draw at home to Villa.

Now Liverpool are 4 points clear up the top of the table and its the quarter-way mark. I might also add that Liverpool are the only unbeaten team in the premiership
Seaman blunder ??? please talk me through this blunder as it's the first I've heard of it.
Seaman, once again, was caught too far off his line and unfortunatley for him and Arsenal, the ball sailed right over his head into the net. It's like the 4th or 5th time that has happened recently. Seaman shouldn't have been that far off his line with the ball around his box.
I wonder what that is doing to his personal confidence
Rught , what actually happend was that as the ball was played back into the area , Edu took a swipe at it , sliced it and the ball looped over Seaman and into the corner of the net, in no way was it Seamans fault .If Dudek, Bhartez and a few others were there as well it would have still gone in.

If you are going to report on the premiership you must get the facts straight,or get a job with the sun.
I'm just quoting what the news report had to say about the match. Donj't be so quick to anger
Edit: Oh and Seaman WAS too far off his line that IS a fact.
And dont get me wrong, I'm actually starting to feel sorry for him. As a Goalkeeper myself, I'm starting to wonder what Seaman did to deserve this misfortune.

Anyone know how L'Arsenal went in their match former relegation andidates and current also-rans Blackburn? I'd expect Les Artilleurs to win EASILY, since Blackburn have to be one of the worst teams in the Premier League, and the game is at Highbury, right? In fact, I'd be surprised if the Rovers even get points on the board, seeing as their strikeforce consists of former Manchester United washed-up has-beens Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole, who usually can't hit either side of a barn if their lives depended on it.

Can anyone help?
Bumping for Memnoch. This thread was falling faster than Liverpool are in the Premiership!
