I'm wondering if I can make a fighter, get him to very high level and able to wield two swords, dual class him to a thief later for dual wield backstabs? Or is it only ranger that can dual wield?
I've not looked at a D&D book in ages so I forget these things... =) Also, I've not played Baldurs gate before... what can you do if you're an evil party as opposed to a good one? Can you still finish the game? Can you take over the world or any towns or such? I remember AGES ago playing the original pool of radiance game. I found it very entertaining to hack and slash the entire forces of Zhentil Keep and take over their fort =) And one last question, are there any awesome D&D muds out there I should play? |

Well i think it'd be a good idea but in bg1 you can't weild two swords no matter wat your class is, i think you can in BG2 but im not sure. Any one out there know?

That Dual-Wield Backstab does sound interesting, though as a Fighter dualed to Thief you'll have a worse THAC0 than a Thief->Fighter. Then again, Dual-Wielding gives you a bonus to THAC0....a definite possibility. Maybe someone on this board who also has BG2 will be able to shed more light. If not, post this question again in the BG2 forum.

Dual wielding gives more attacks but a penalty to the THAC0
