I spent nine days in prison once, because a guy told the cops i shot at him. They came to my house and found a shotgun that i owned at that time, but i had nothing to do with that case. Seemed the shooter had the same name as i have. They found out nine days later and i was allowed to go home again, spending nine days in prison innocent sucks big time !

I once had my Fiancee at the time dump me, found out that she was pregnant, my Grandmother passed away, and then was told I wouldn't graduate on time.
The baby wasn't mine, though, and I did graduate on time (computer error). But for a while, it was rough... But I'm doing MUCH better, now.... BK

Wow, I have had some pretty bad weeks, but I guess one really sticks out.
It all started when I broke up with my ex-boyfriend and he refused to leave me alone. I had to get 2 restraining orders on him and he still wouldn't leave me alone. I worked the graveyard shift at 7-11 in my mom's hometown, where I used to live. I came home from work the when I got off the next morning and come home and all my stuff was gone. Even my contact stuff. My head was killing me, I was exhausted, I had school in a few hours and needed to get a few hours of sleep before my first class of the morning. I found a note by my ex-boyfriend telling me where he was staying and if I wanted my stuff back I had to come and see him. The kicker was that I had a restraining order on him and I couldn't go near him as he couldn't go near me. So anyhoo, I called the cops and they met me where he was staying. He then claimed that that I was stalking him and I had stolen his stuff. I was nearly taken to jail, and I started to cry. The cop griped me out for crying and told me to leave my ex-boyfriend alone. When he was the one stalking me. But the problem was that he was a volunteer fireman and was good friends with pretty much everyone on the police force in the town I lived in. That started the horrible week off. I had to park my car on my mom's grass yard because he would come flatten my car tires, break my windows, etc. The police would say that the street was public property and that he could do whatever he wanted to on it. He camped out on the sidewalk in front of our house, again, the police said he was within his rights to do that. He would throw things at our windows in our house. Let's see, what sort of other hell did he put me through that week? It finally all ended when we went to court and the judge, who did my divorce also, told him to leave me alone and if he ever saw him back in his court again, he would make sure that he would end up in jail for a very long time. So that is my worst week, sorry is ended up being so long. I hope I didn't bore you too much. But now my life is so much better since I have the wonderful Azred in my life. Belle

yikes Belle, what a jerk that guy was, glad you found Azred
Ehh, my worst was probably last year, I came home from work after 15 hours and found a note from the people I rented the appartment that they had been trying to reach me becasue they were aboutto sell the house so they had to ask me to move on 2 months notice, I thought it wasn't that bad, because I could just find a new one. Little did I know that my manager had a little surprise in store for me the next day when I came to work, I was being laid off. Well that meant I'd never find a job as well paid and therefore I'd never find a decent appartment, so I had to move back to my parents. Then just to top it of the next day which was friday, my friend was in a carcrash and for the whole weekend it wasn't known if she would live or die or if there would be any braindamage, thank god she was okey... Yes I think that was my worst week... |

I got shot because the guy who lived across the street from me had been starting trouble with my family for years. One day my brother, Steve, had his truck parked on "his" (the neighbors) side of the street facing the wrong way and so the jerk called the cops on him. The cops turned up and wrote my brother a parking ticket for $12.50 Big deal.
Steve turned the truck around facing the right way and parked it back in the same spot. Of course the cops were gone by this time. 10 minutes after he moved the truck, Steve looked out the front door and saw rocks flying over the guys wood fence hitting Steves windshield chipping it. Steve went over and knocked on the door. Confrontation time. No answer. He walked around to the side of the house where the fence was. Nobody there. Back to the front door. The guy comes out. Steve tells him off and starts to walk back to the house to call the cops. (I had no idea all this was happening.) Steve took two steps and the guy stepped out and tried to punch him in the back of the head (he missed.) Fight was on. Steve whipped his ass good. During the fight Steve hollered my name. I come running. I talk Steve into letting the guy up. The guy jumps up and runs in the house grabs a gun and comes out. (Again I had no idea) My back was turned and the guy starts to lift the gun and shoot me in the back. I saw movement in my extreme peripheral vision of my left eye. I turned and slapped back to my left. I knocked the guys own left hand in front of the barrel as he was squeesing the trigger. The bullet passed through his left hand before hitting my chestabout an inch and a half below the clavical at a very sharp angle (my body was turned almost profile to his.)It knocked me down apparently, but I was up and gone from pure instinct. Good thing the guy had a screen door, because I heard it slam closed and thats what made me start to turn, just in time too. As soon as it happened Steve was on him again. Beat the snot out of him and took the gun away from him. Steve didnt even know Id been hit I was up on my feet so fast. The only thing I can think, as I had no part in the altercation, was that he wanted to shoot my brother but he wanted to get his "backup" out of the way. So logic says shoot the closest one then shoot the other. The good news is Im 37 now and in good health. My shoulder gets a little stiff in rainy or cold weather. The other guy STILL has a lame left hand for the rest of his life. Good thing is hes left handed. The cops told me later that the reason he shoots right handed is because thats how they taught him to shoot in the Marines. They like everybody to shoot the same way (at least thats how they did it way back when.) So hes screwed and Im laughing just thinking about how justice got served. BTW No charges were filed on him because it was in his front yard. Still justice was done. Im fine ,and he either has to wear loafers ,or his wife has to tie his shoes for him ![]() Ironic huh?? ![]() [ 08-01-2002, 10:35 AM: Message edited by: Earthdog ]
