And 18m long.. thats huge! God that would be a terror to meet while swimming. Thank God they only exist in deep water. These thing supposedly make good eating for Sperm whales. Can you possibly believe the environment these things live in? Kilometres underwater, in pitch darkness, with monster-sized everything.. its a place I'd never want to visit, and really want to visit at the same time. I mean these things basically share an environment with species that are essentially nearly extinct, unknown to science, or are way beyond usual proportions. Huge whales, million-year old fish..
