I can honestly say that I've enjoyed every job that I've had as long as I've been there.
On the other hand, I have changed my career on several occasions. As I've grown, my interests have changed, and my responsibilities have changed. Right out of college, I could work for less than I need now, so working in game development was a great choice. I did what I liked, and loved the folks I worked with. My expenses were minimal, which helped, since the pay was also. When I've worked for, or contracted to, a company, I've always chosen environments that I would like, and be comfortable in. When situations changed, I've always been able to move on happily. Only recently, last year, have I been in a situation where I felt taken advantage of by a large company. It is also one of the rare times I've been employed, rather than self-employed. As Charean pointed out, right now we are self-employed, (My usual preference) but we are trying to turn it into a business, ie. train others to do what we do and build a team.

I dont really like my job (framing houses/carpenter) but it pays ok. Not a fortune but ok. The main benefit is working with funny people, it can get pretty hilarious on a job site. Although its not for the sensitive, everybody gives a lot of shit to each other. Another benefit is there is no corporate crap to put up with. Rules are very minimul, if there are any lol.
And MagiK I dont think those knees will stop you from doing push-ups. Do 20 RIGHT NOW MISTER!!!!!!

Awww--thanks, guys, for making a newbie feel all warm and fuzzy. *blushes* Now, can someone tell me how to get one of those pretty moving pictures in my signature? I realize this is off-topic (see, I learn fast, right?), so you can PM me. Thanks!

Hi, Lian, WELCOME TO IRONWORKS I read somewhere that most exotic dancers are single mothers. There is an organization here in Dallas to help them get out of that.
