Very interesting poll results! Many more boys than girls, 16-20 is the largest age group, for more than 10% English is not their primary language...anyway good idea Memnoch.

I'm 35, female, from the USA, and speak English, French, and ein bisschen (?) German.

There have been many such polls on different sites within Ironworks in the last year and a half, and there are actually quite a few women here (and girls!), but not all of us post on General Discussion (I only started a few months ago). So the rest of them are on other areas of Ironworks!

I'm male, from the Netherlands (counts as Europe, I suspect ), turning 18 tomorrow (I'm 17 now, for those of you having trouble with the maths ).
English is my second language, after Dutch. I also speak German good enough to make myself clear, I can read and translate French with a little effort, but I can't keep pace with a true frenchman talking French. As for speaking it, I've always believed that you can get a long way with nothing more than 'bonjour' and 'un compsa'... I'm also starting to pick up some Norwegian, and although I can't type many words without major spelling errors I can speak a few words and translate simple texts. Using that I usually get some way translating Danish and Swedish too. Finally I'm carefully circling Quenya, though I'm not studying very seriously at the moment.
That's the 'two or more languages' category, right?
