Note: We have a low-level party. My char is lvl 2.
In our game, my party went to a troll cave. I was the only one who stayed outside because im a human and don`t have Infravision. All the others went inside, killed all the trolls there were and found 2560 Gold Pieces!! The bastards took all the gold and gave me only 100 of it because my char didnt know there was more than that! Ok, what`s done is done, it was all fair and possible. BUT one thing - One of them was True Neutural, all the others were Neutural Good. My point is that such an act really should not be done by Good aligned characters! Should i demand the gold i was supposed to get?

You are right, to an extent.

You shouldn't get the gold, but your team-mates should LOSE the experience points the DM would have awarded them for roleplaying. The DM may award those to you, if he feels.

If anything, the True Neutral fellow should've spoken up in the favour of balance. Some getting lots and one getting hardly none isn't good balance.

The Neutral Goods should also have given you at least a bit more than that.

The True Nuetral player should be punnished by having his class changed and several reputation poitns dropped. And you don't need infravision to wander around in a dark cave... It sounds to me like the DM is being unfair to yoru character

that;s why i recomend you play a little class called Chaotic Neutral. You can be spontaneouse! kill your comrades, run away from them, or aid them depending on how you're feeling at that point. I occasionally stand on the side lines and wait for my freinds to all die before leaping in and finishing off the damaged monsters

Being a bit harsh here, aren't we? The normal punishment for grievous alignment deviation or alignment change is an XP loss.

As for the lack of infravision.... True, but if the cave is dark enough he'd be blind as a bat unless he had brought a torch.

That sounds more like evil than neutral to me. A Chaotic Neutral mustn't be only evil, he must act impulsively, both good and evil. And Chaotic Neutral doesn't = insane. A Chaotic Neutral character can still think coherently, he's just more likely to act on whim than deep thought.

And it's called alignment, not class Fighter is a class

Chaotic Neutrals are the kind of alignment that doesn't give a shit about good and evil, law or chaos or any kind of cosmic balance. They just do what they feel like, sometimes they'll suddenly refrain because of feeling nice, other times they won't.

Just doing whatever you want and not caring about anyone else is Chaotic Evil, not Chaotic Neutral.

Good, evil... bah

No such thing in Necromancy... that's another reason i choose Necro-ranger over just plain ol' ranger...

oh and my race, for your information, is exactly like human but is called (by the monster manual) K'tril they look exactly like human beings except they have cat ears and tials. So technically my chances of a critical hit lobbing my head off are decreased by the presence of my tail but that was just a cheap trick
