They have a decent sell value, i guess the Cursed sword of berserking could be useful in certain situations, though i really havent tried it

They're there for one reason as far as I can see......to teach people to identify items first. Curiosity killed the cat and all that ying yang .

Sir G, you don't need to put them on Anomen; he's a useless ugly bastad anyway

The only Cursed item in the game that was any good was the Claw of Kazgaroth; you can actually carry it with you into BG2 if you equip it on your main character, but doing that means giving up the Helm of Balduran. NOT a fair trade. I'd like to see a whole lot more Cursed items in BG2: Some that can be used to benefit you (if used properly), and some that can't.

coudlnt the sword of beserking be used by a character to fight kangaxx..it would make you beserk, but its only a +3 weapon..maybe you could distract kangaxx with the beserked guy while hacking away with another one..

y not just use remove curse? then u'd just hav sword of beserking +3 that would kill enemies instead of murdering anyone in sight (cursed version does that). just a thought.

ps. y has every1 got it in for Anomen, he is a skilled cleric and fighter, ok, he is annoying but come on, i put up with Aerie's whining to be her lover, so he cant be that much more annoying can he?

I'm afraid not no, berseking does not protect from imprisionment. Enraging does, but not beserking (confusing I know, since enragers are called beserkers!)

I've not tried this but I've a strong feeling that if you cast remove curse on a character using the cursed sword of beserking, the weapon would be immediately unequipped.
