Actually I have another way. Open the gif file in your browser and 'right-click' on it, click 'Save picture as' and make it save a bitmap

And if you need a picture editing software and don´t feel like buying photoshop you can download this program, free trial, which will let you do the same... PhotoStudio

I LOVE photostudio! Just barely figured out how to use it, it's so much better than what I was using before! (windows paint)
