The kitchen sink must have a lot of rust if its red. Or was there a lot of bloody mass murders in that house?

I only read the first post, so I haven't peeked at any responses.

It took me several reads through and I think the stairs have no color at all because they do not exist in a one-story house.

Now I'll look to see if I made a dumb answer!

you're all right. I heard this riddle somewhere, don't know where. it could be any of those, but the most commonly chose answer is that there are no stairs, so that is the "right" answer. I'll try to come up with another riddle for ya.
