It was too cold to stay indoors earlier so I went outside to see what I could do to occupy myself for a while.
The front porch and sidewalk don't need swept and its still too early to water plants so I went out back to see what the dogs were up to.

It seems we have some new breed of tick that neither Frontline Plus nor flea and tick collars will kill! They look like tiny versions of those fat nasty green ones but they are grey and not so bloated looking. (?) Never seen 'em before.
Anyway, the dogs were infested so I took their heavy duty kiddie pool and used it as a big bath tub.

One by one I washed them with flea and tick shampoo, dried them off with beach towels and brushed them out. I had to change the water after each bath so I dumped it where they like to lay in the shade which will hopefully kill any of those ticks that are there.
I had to give them all treats for being so good about it all too! They just love baths
When they are completely dry I'll (flea) powder them down and brush them out again. I'll powder their shady area too.

Sugar just had to roll in the dirt as soon as I was finished combing her out lol and then she chased Hercules as if to threaten him with getting him dirty. It was funny! Especially when he herded her straight into Zip's face (Zip doesn't like Sugar ) Smart dog, he is!
Too bad I couldn't get pics of it all. Well at least they'll be clean & brushed if I get out there later or later in the week to get some new shots of them.

If there anything like my dog, a bath means the end of the world! He loves swimming in the ocean, lake or river and can go for hours, but a bath! He's definetly a wimp when it comes bath time!

Oh no Megabot! Its nice and hot here! KHaN just has the AC on so cold that I was beginning to freeze indoors!
Norway sounds beautiful! It is like that here right now but in another month everything outside will start to die off because the heat gets so intense.

Animal,
All four of our dogs enjoyed their bath and stood still while I wet them, washed them and rinsed them off! It was great!
Sugar was tempted to lay down and roll over onto her back while I scratched her belly though LOL!
