US admits Mosul killings

So, regarding Fox network's total coverage of the war with Iraq; we are to believe that their live coverage of Centcom briefings or their quotes on the subjects covered in those briefings are all lies.

Well....if I read the story correctly, Fox did NOT lie "on the air" - because they never "aired" the news story in question at all. However, they DID claim (as their defense) that they were under no legal obligation to tell the truth in their news stories...because the FCC regulations requiring truthful presentations is just a policy, not a law.

Yep, thanks for link Cerek. I forgot it never aired. I particularly like this story because I so dislike Monsanto and try to take a [img]graemlins/whackya.gif[/img] at it whenever I can. If anyone out there has any potential claims against Monsanto that could potentially cause them real hurt, let me know and I'll litigate it for cheap.

Edit: 'Cause TL ran a quick search and found out his firm sometimes represents Monsanto.

Damn I hate that - I wrote Moni a nice big post about FOX, decided that she was probably aiming her last comments more at TL more than me - went into the edit function and thought should I delete it? Ticked the box and decided NO, I will just edit it. Finished all my edits, submitted it and hey presto, hadn't unchecked the delete box .

Maybe someone will have quoted me while I have been typing this - hope so, cos I just can't drag myself back to investing all that emotional energy of composing it all over again.

Don't bother fretting over it...if you can't show me enough respect to finish spelling my name, why would I want to hear what you have to say? You seem to firmly believe that I've become a right-winger bent on believing everything Fox airs...nevermind that I have stated plenty of times that I use a variety of different news and media sources for getting information, not to mention it is well known that I would be the first to call GWB "The Bizarro Jesus" to his face...whatever emotional energy you expended toward me, good or bad, was a complete waste...sorry. *click*
