If you think that's extreme, one of my relatives (who is normally a very reasonable bloke) has got so sick of the terrorist threat from muslims, he said the ideal way to stop terrorism from them would be to threaten to nuke Mecca on the occasion of the next terrorist attack.

It wouldn't work, but you've gotta admit, it rather puts the extremism of "kill 49 terrorists" into perspective

I have a friend that is anti-war, but also offerred this solution to get the Saudi Government to crack down on their Wahabbi's! He is actually a very smart fellow and has two degrees in Middle Eastern Studies and Electrical Engineering.

I've repeatedly suggested to friends that the quickest way to resolve this Palestinian/Israeli problem would be to drop the biggest Hydrogen beast we've got into the middle of Jerusalem on a one month fuse. If they straighten out their stuff then it gets disarmed, but if not then BOOM... Jerusalem goes bye-bye and they no longer have anything to fight about.
