George Bush declared Kwisatz Haderach.

In a move that has taken the whole word by surprise, hawks in the Pentagon who are still loyal to Atreides, have announced to the world today that George Bush is the Kwisatz Haderach. When the Kwisatz Haderach was questioned as to his motives in starting the great crusade in Iraq, he flatly denied it was about Spice. Instead claiming that it was only about "oil and profiteering". Furthermore he made a statement of reassurance and intent to the Iraqi people declaring that; "our water is your water". He also Accused the Iraqis of having sardaukars fighting alongside them, dressed falsely in the Iraqi army uniform. A Colonel Bashar of the Iraqi army flatly denied this when we questioned him. A military analyst we later consulted said: "he who controls the Spice, controls Iraq" Germany, France, Russia and the Spacers Guild are all still united in condemning what they call a "shameful breaking of the great convention".

edit: Sorry, Hierophant...my post above was meant to be somewhat tongue in cheek, but might seem a little rude. LOL, Just thought I'd admit, I've not only read Dune et al, but 'studied' it among other works in High School and college classes. So I didn't miss the humor, just the acknowledgement of authorship.

I was recently Reading “Dune” and I felt inspired.
I did post it on 2 NG's first FYI.
