Good article, but it seems to be a bit critical of the fact that noone helps America, forgetting that America is THE biggest and richest country and is capable of taking care of itself.

Please don't get me wrong. The speech used to bring a tear to my eye in those days. It was released on a 45 record (anyone remember those?

I say this because our government leaps at the chance to prop up the Airline Industry when they are going bankrupt, but has never really tried to save the trains. I know there is more beneath the surface of this issue, but it IS sad that our railway system is not as strong as it once was. Mark |
