I'll upload a shot of my house tonight if I can get in- or can email it to you. I sent one that way to Moiraine earlier. Can you get jpg files at your email addy and is it in your profile? I can't recall. I have a medium sized Cape Cod. Nothing fancy, but it's all MINE, er and the bank's! HAHAHA

My yard is a work in progress. When I moved in there was nothing but clay mud, literally. In May the contractor put one lonely 4 ft high arborvitae in the back yard. I've done SO much work on the yard...sigh (acutally my housemate has too..don't want to sound like I do it all alone! I'm the planner, organizer etc, but she helps with the digging and planting!)

As for the 'push the power button' stories, LOL. I can relate! I'm the first line of help in our dept for computing problems. Hardware is not my thing, so I call out to the computing support office for that but I get all the "how come I can't see the window" questions...and the answer is: it's under another dialog box...CASCADE the windows...sigh

My all time favorite: We have a computing lab and I'm mainly responible for keeping it running. So all questions start out with me if I'm around. I have carefully labeled EACH machine and all the printers. We have six computers. two have their own prtr and three share a prt, leaving one with no printer at all. It has a sign on it with NO PRINTER in 1/2 in letters!!!). So students routinely pick that last computer and come crying to me that the printer isn't working...uh duh, you mean you are trying to print with a pc that has no printer attached...GET GLASSES or learn to read! Sheesh! LOL

GM:

Oh that's too funny! Press start to start, kind of stuff....kills me!

I just sent you some pictures! Two of the house- one is summer, one is last winter the day (April) of that wild foot plus of snow we got! Then there's one of part of the back yard/patio and my new little back porch that replaces the rotted stairs the contractor used to get the certif of occupancy but were total garbage!

The shed is cute, isn't it! hehehe...we always have to explain that to a woman, it has to be cute! Not nasty utilitarian tool sheds, please! Little doll house with planter box under the window! Built to order by the Amish in Penn. and delivered fully built and dropped in the yard. LOL It's not big enough since I don't have a garage...sigh..but it holds a lot of stuff and it's the focal point in that part of the yard.

The patio is that new-fangled process of poured concrete, colored and impressed (like giant cookie cutters) to look like stone and it's fooled many a visitor, including a contractor!
