Drugs are cheaper than pscyotherapy so the party paying for the treatment are going to go with the cheapest effective method even if it is not the most effective method.
Regardless- Blaming the meds, or video games, or the classmates teasing are all excuses. It takes some serious mental defects not to know the difference between right and wrong. The fact the kid turned the gun on himself signals to me he knew what he did was wrong and that he was unable to live with the consequences and take responsibility for his actions. This is not mental defect, but weak character. Anyhoo.... Did ya'll hear about the unarmed security gaurd who confronted the kid and bought other people time to escape before he was killed.
